Our holiday home De Flierefluiter is a patio bungalow at Park Duinland in Sint Maartenszee and suitable for 4-5 people. It is only 900 meters from the North Sea beach and has a garden where you can enjoy the sun at any time of the day, but also find a place in the shade. For us as a family, the Flierefluiter is a place where we can relax, have time for each other and can flirt wonderfully. The cottage is comfortably furnished and fully equipped. We have worked as much as possible with natural colors and materials, so that the interior also radiates tranquility in terms of style and color. Through the completely glass back door you have a view of the garden from most of the house and the border between inside and outside is blurred. This makes it a wonderful place to stay even in the low season.

Layout

Inside: Hall with coat rack. Bathroom with toilet, foot bath, double sink, shower and washing machine. Second toilet. Combined spacious lounge and dining room / kitchen. One bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm). Two bedrooms with bunk beds (80x200 cm). All bedrooms have cupboard space.

Outside: Spacious private, sunny garden with large patio terrace, lawn, outside storage room, picnic table, garden furniture and fire pit / BBQ.

Surroundings

In the surroundings of the Flierefluiter you will find the beautiful Pettemer dunes. The varied vegetation of this beautiful dune area has something for everyone. Whether you are looking for the tranquility of a sheltered dune pan, or want to cycle or walk. Sint Maartenszee beach has two beach pavilions; North and South. Children can play on the beach and enjoy the sun and the sea. Bird lovers are catered for: in the nature area Zwanenwater located in the dunes, at least eighty bird species breed, including a colony of spoonbills. Unique to this area are the dune lakes; the largest dune lake in Europe is located here. In the spring, the environment of Sint Maartenszee changes into a colorful patchwork of flowering flower bulb fields. The nearby Wildrijk nature reserve is littered with purple forest hyacinths during this same period of the year. In the immediate vicinity are also the characteristic cities of Alkmaar and Schagen. Here you can go shopping or enjoy a drink on a terrace. In short, an environment with a suitable flute activity for everyone.
