Cabaña romántica en un lago privado con chimenea

¡TOTALMENTE PRIVADO! Nuestra parcela de 85 acres ubicada en el norte del condado de Dutchess ofrece una variedad de terrenos para explorar: bosques, arroyos, prados e incluso un desfiladero.

La cabaña de troncos, en la orilla de nuestro lago privado de tres acres y medio, es la única vivienda en el lago. El vecino más cercano está cerca de 1/4 de milla de distancia.

Una gran chimenea de piedra y una ventana panorámica con vistas al lago son las características especiales de la cabina, así como el porche cubierto con sillas colgantes y sofás y sillas de madera roja. Dormir en un sofá cama de matrimonio en nuestra gran sala de estar. También hay sillas y hamacas colgando afuera de varios árboles.

Cocinar al aire libre se hace placentero con la elección de una parrilla de gas o una barbacoa de carbón de piedra, y la cena se realiza en una gran mesa de picnic sentada en un patio de piedra o en una mesa de picnic en el área del muelle. También puede cenar dentro de la ventana de la imagen, si lo prefiere. ¡Un jardín de hierbas (en temporada) ofrece una selección de 12 hierbas diferentes para usar en su cocina!

La iluminación exterior es extensa si lo desea. ¡Preferimos las estrellas y la luz de la luna que se refleja en el lago!

Beautiful place to relax

Beautiful plants all over. Although it raiend while we were there, it was so nice to hear the differnt wind chimes as the winds came. Loveley natural wonder of a cabin. Karen was a great host & checkin/checkout was a breeze. Its a perfect spot for a couples getaway. I have seen a crane, some miniature chicken looking bird, deer, blue jays,turtles, pretty big fish, and lots of lovely flora. Very peaceful & close to nature.

Piece of Heaven

If you are looking to getbaway from the hustle and bustle of life, unwind and relax in a slice of heaven this is your place. Karen is the sweetest host and I am very thankful she is wants to share this hidden rusty gem. Sitting on the back porch swing looking at the lake, listening to nature and reading a book was just what we needed. Looking forward to making more memories at our new favorite get away. Weekend Getaway

Karen and Serge's cabin for 2 nights provided the perfect reset from the city. The property is so peaceful and beautiful providing the right balance of tranquil relaxation with the sound of local or migrating birds on a mirrored lake.Grilling on property was a pleasure but I would also highly recommend the local market and restaurants too. We had delightful bites and coffee each day from Big Rock Market.10 out of 10 would stay again.

Secluded gem

Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land.

RELAXING, ROMANTIC and BEAUTIFUL!

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Karen's cozy cabin. We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere and complete privacy. We enjoyed hiking the many trails on the property, relaxing in the many hammocks on the grounds, the fireplace, and the row boat. Karen was a wonderful host and was very helpful! The ice cream sundaes were delicious. We will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I had an amazing stay at this cabin. Very quiet and peaceful and lots to do just on the property alone. The host Karen was very nice and welcoming, left us ice cream sundaes and set up a birthday sign for my fiancé on our arrival! Beautiful cabin and very private, we will definitely be back!

Back to basics with view and privacy

The owner has stocked the tiny kitchen with so much, even m&m's Just bring your food and wine. The porch overlooking the lake is perfect. But there are so many places to enjoy the location and just chill. We enjoyed seeing the resident heron, rabbit, birds, butterflies, and even deer (on our walk). The gas Weber is perfect for taking the cooking out of the kitchen, and I loved the red (additional) fridge outside the door (summer only). It's not our typical getaway from NYC, but we'll be back!

Excellent!

Great cabin and relaxing lake. Not much cell signal but I was surprised that the internet there is actually blazing fast - great for videos, etc. No one around so nice and peaceful - great way to recharge for a couple nights. Will be back!

Lovely serenity

This is a great property that is well kept with trails to hike, stars at night, a pond to hear frogs and tons of dragonflies and fireflies. It’s stuff made up of a place you would see on TV. Lots of hammocks and chairs around and my favorite place was the deck overlooking the pond - especially at night.

Hudson Valley Cabin

Wonderful! Very clean - What a special place, great "spirit" - close to the FDR Presidential Library, Taconic Distillary, the Back Beer Garden and the Cabin (tavern)! Awesome for a couple, relax, swim, fish - no neighbors! Lotsa Bass for the catching!

Love this cabin

The cabin is really cute & has wind chimes & garden art all around it that integrates so perfectly with the natural oasis it is set in. This is a great place for a nature loving couple to enjoy. Singing birds, frogs, turtles chipmunks & fish in the lake, are the only neighbors you will notice o this beautiful property. Karen is a lovely gracious host and both she and the cabin are very welcoming & charming. Its a perfect spot go to with your soulmate & reconnect with nature.

Breath of fresh air

We love the place it was even more beautiful and peaceful than we expected .It was home away from home with the most gorgeous view . Ms.Karen was wonderful very welcoming . It was all my partner and I need to get away from stressful week . Thanks again Ms.Karen and p.s we love the ice cream Sunday . We are not only highly recommended but soon we will be back . Little Slice of Paradise

Talk about cozy, this place tops them all! Time seems to slow down when you are staying in this well appointed cabin. We loved sitting in the rocking chair inside or the one on the porch overlooking the pond. Hiking trails are well marked leading from the cabin and the bird watching over the pond was great. You are very much to yourselves while staying here as it is very rural. And, the bed was fantastic!

Weekend Escape

We are relatively local - Cold Spring and Beacon. But we felt like we were worlds away! The cabin was quintessential and super cozy, and the property was a quick skip to all the local attractions. Karen was absolutely lovely - ice cream sundaes were a very sweet treat. We were wanting to just be with each other and unplug, and this weekend delivered on that. Would love to visit again in the fall.
