Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains our cabin is just minutes from Lake Lure, The Tryon Equestrian Center, Chimney Rock, Hickory Nut Gorge, and other local attractions. This log cabin is the perfect place to get away while still enjoying all the amenities that make you feel at home. You will enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Wild Cats Spur on Sugar Loaf Mountain from your porch. Don't be surprised if you glimpse a flock of turkeys or the beautiful deer that call the surrounding woods their home. You can explore Asheville, Tryon, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and many historic sites from this cabin. You are always minutes away from fishing, kayaking, hiking, swimming, zip lining, and other outdoor adventures!
This cabin is 1 bedroom / 1 bath 400 square feet with a loft. It will accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. The bedroom offers 1 queen size bed. There is also plenty of storage for your clothes. In the loft, you will find 2 twin size beds which is perfect for children or teens. The bathroom offers a tub/shower combo. Cook your meals in the fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the many local restaurants in the area. TVs with satellite are located in the living room and bedroom. The cabin offers couples quiet time away or families a wonderful place to make memories.

Very nice cabin in a picturesque location!

We spent three nights here and had a great time. The cabin was very clean, our daughter loved the loft, and we had multiple deer and turkey sightings during our visit.

The view was awesome. The cabin screen porch was great. I actually found the outside porch more appealing than the inside couch not comfortable for me but I did not use it much. Bed was comfortable. I was a little disappointed I could not make my coffee. No supples but filter.

Nice quite place. Its like new. Beautiful sunsets and seen several deer and turkeys. It was a nice place out of town to unwind from Lake Lure daily entertainment.

Thank you so much for the lovely stay! The cabin was well appointed, clean and in a very peaceful setting! My husband & I loved the proximity to amazing hiking trails and the convenience of a large grocery store only a few minutes away! We would definitely plan another stay and would not hesitate to recommend The Cabin’s at the Gap to friends and family!

Get away cabin

Actually this was our first time using VRBO the cabin was very nice. The location was perfect for our visit. There is one other cabin located on the property that is close but privacy is not an issue otherwise. We would highly recommend this cabin to others.

What a beautiful self-contained cabin in the mountains. So warm and cozy, and the view is breathtaking. A nice getaway with so many things to see and do locally. Such a magical place to create memories of a lifetime.
