Welcome Home. Stay on a private lake with excellent fishing and a sandy bottom for swimming!! Very secluded feel, but conveniently close to all the Sister Lake amenities. The home features a new renovated open concept kitchen and livingroom, with brand new stainless steel appliances, kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops. The kitchen comes stocked with all the amenities of home, which also includes a coffee pot, 4 place toaster, crock pot and more. The breakfast bar is a great place to watch TV or extra seating at meal time. The livingroom is freshly remodeled and ready to entertain, with new furniture that provides plenty of seating. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed with its' own full bathroom. The second bedroom features a king bed and couch, the third bedroom features a queen bed and bunk beds that is a single bed on top and a double on the bottom. The garage and game room door opens and is screened in plus it provides an awesome view of the lake. There is an extra stainless steel refrigerator in the garage for extra food and drinks. There is a bar and plenty of places to lounge around and also play games. Enjoy a campfire on the beach side and the sandy beach area. Your children will love the play set and toys. Everything is brand new with top quality linens and furnishings. We just installed brand new carpet throughout the home. You won't want to miss out on staying here for your vacation. Pontoon and Kayaks are included with your booking. Brand new high speed wireless WiFi. We are set up primarily for a family get away. No parties please. Pets must be kept on leash when outside. Things to do year round in our area: Snowmobiling, Skiing, Snowboarding, Ice fishing, fishing, Ice Skating, Pumpkin Patches, Hay rides, apple, peach, blueberry, cherry picking, organic veggie and fruit stands, Array of local bakeries, restaurants, and neat local shops that are open year round, Casinos are close by too as well as wine tours.

Great House!

The house was so clean, comfortable, and the pontoon boat was an added bonus. The fire pit was also an excellent addition. The garage with the extra refrigerator was great for larger groups to store all our excess food and drinks. Definitely would recommend this rental house and we will definitely be coming back to Jarvis Lake.

Our family enjoyed our weeklong stay at this beautiful lake house property on Jasper Lake in Eau Claire. It was quiet, calm, and provided a welcome retreat! The house was nicely stocked, had cool air conditioning, and enough sleeping space for our crew. It was an added bonus that it was pet friendly (for a small added fee). We LOVED going on pontoon boat rides around the lake, fishing, sitting by the dock, and taking in the gorgeous sunsets! Hosts were responsive and helpful with any questions. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Peaceful, Quiet & Oh So Relaxing

This is such a great location for a relaxing, get-away-from-it -all trip! The lake is small (electric motors only) & so quiet & tranquil to float around on. The fishing was great, nephew caught a few blue gill (& a baby bass that he threw back) enough to make a meal! Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, nice appliances. The owners are the BEST! William & Jenny are so easy to work with, and were quick to respond & attentive of our needs.

This is our second stay. We love this place. Well kept and clean. Beautiful quiet spot on a small lake. Plenty of space for kids to run and play. Hosts are kind and have good communication. Pontoon boat and kayaks are a great addition. We hope to be back again next year.

Family vacation

Everything was very nice. Garage set up was perfect for all the kiddos ages 5 to 17. They loved it. The pontoon boat was a lot of fun to go out on. Everyone loved swimming off of it and fishing. Plus the kayaks were a huge hit. We grilled out every night as well. Large lot and fire pit was also nice for the kiddos.

Family Week

Jenny and William answered all my questions quickly. Clean house. Our 4 yr old granddaughter loves the sand area by the water. Very quiet area, we loved it. Friendly neighbors who live on both sides. We will definitely return. Coffee maker is ground coffee and grill is charcoal. (If you pack ahead like we did)

Guys weekend

Had a great time with my brother and our two adult nephews. Place was as described and had lots of fun things to do. Pontoon was awesome, the garage turned into a man cave/game room was where we spent most of our time. Would absolutely stay again!

Great stay!

This was our second time staying at this house and it was great. Only thing worth mentioning is the pontoon boat pictured is different from the pontoon boat on site. But all in all, access to the boat was our favorite part of the trip. The kids enjoyed the boat and the swimmable lake.

Not what we thought it would be

The house was clean but the bathtubs were not clean and the one bathroom after a shower left orange tint on skin. Having a use of a pontoon was very nice but the water was all muck and Lily pads. We couldn’t swim in it which was very disappointing. This is a small lake for fishing. And using the garage as a rec room was a good idea but everything was dirty.

What a nice, quiet vacation! This property is located in a peaceful lovely area with a few houses nearby. Just what we wanted. The house worked very well for 4 adults and 2 children. Having the pontoon on the lake with the dock was really, really nice. The fishing competition was on! Even the kids did well catching bass.The house was very clean and comfortable. WiFi was faultless. TV was great. And the beds! My husband and I agree that it was the most comfortable bed we have slept in in the many VRBOs we have rented. We had no issues at all during our stay, but the communication with owners leading up to our stay was excellent. I think if they could add the use of a washer/dryer it would be perfect!

Lovely vacation

We had a very nice time staying here!! There was plenty of space, the beds were comfortable. we loved the pool table in the garage, the kayaks and the boat! The only thing wrong was the sandy beach, which I already talked to the owner and they'll fix it. The pictures with the kayaks is your sandy beach area not the pictures at the end of a beach with the bird.

Beautiful cottage

We had a very quiet and relaxing weekend. Kids swam and played in the lake. Adults fished and hung-out by the fire. Property has a nice size yard, pantoon and kayaks, which we used. This is our second time renting the cabin. We will definitelly come back.

House by the lake

The inside was very nice and updated but the outside was a little rough. The access to the electric pontoon was fun along with the kayaks. We had a couple of bon fires and we enjoyed playing pool in the game room. The owner was very hospitable letting us use his fishing rod and showing us how to use the boat and answering more of our questions. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

All was great including the use of the pontoon boat. Couldn’t catch a darn fish until we finally found the right bait. I will do future guests a favor: chatter baits. Caught three bass using them the final night. You can thank me later :) Great place!!!

Perfect Family vacation for our family

Our family enjoyed our vacation here very much. Everything was as expected. The house is spacious and clean. The yard is well kept. We used the pontoon boat that was included with the stay and it worked out great for us. The owner was very nice and responsive to my texts. After reading the reviews, we brought plenty of drinking water with us. Also, It’s only about 25 minutes drive to St. Joseph pier so we were able to visit the lighthouses and the beach during our stay. Overall, it was a perfect place for our family vacation and we would definitely book here again.

Nice quiet getaway

This was a great little home on a quiet lake that allowed us to have some quality time together as a family, have some activities to do together, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The host communication was great and they were flexible. The only pitfall was a significant odor from the water--it made it difficult to shower/feel clean, which is why overall rating is 4 stars. Would definitely stay here again if the water situation is rectified. Thanks!

This property is special to us because of the up north feel to it. We love the atmosphere of the lake area, the swimming, boating, and the nature that surrounds the property. This property is in the perfect location, as its close to the Casinos, Wedding Venues, LMC College, Andrews University, Lake Michigan, Benton Harbor, St. Joe, Watervliet, Dowagiac and so many more places. There are many restaurants, organic farms, Antique malls, lots of shopping, beaches you name it. The neighborhood is safe, really quiet, and very nice.

What makes this property unique

What made us decide to purchase this property is the location and the up north feel to the area. The neighborhood is very safe, nice, and quiet. The neighbors are very nice and respectful of your privacy, please show them the same. Pets are welcome for a fee of $100 per pet per stay. If you have pets with you, please keep them on a leash or right by you outside the home and please do not trespass onto neighbors property or dock the pontoon anywhere but our dock. There's lots of room for you and your guests on our property. Please let us know if you have any questions. .
