You'll feel at home in the hills nestled in this beautiful fully furnished 2 bdr 1 bath home. Renovated in 2019. Detached 2 car garage. Sit on the wrap around porch and take in all nature has to offer including a stream, deer and turkeys. Close to all attractions in the Black Hills and Rapid City. Walk to downtown with its restaurants, quaint shops and art galleries. Micolson walking trail is right behind us. Parking galore. Owners occasionally may stay in the studio behind the detached garage

Cute little stay in the beautiful Black Hills!

A cute little property that was perfect for our family of 4, plus our dog! Close to all the attractions of the Black Hills but still a quiet resting spot!

Great location

Very easy access to Hill City Main Street by foot. Owner was very helpful and gave sight-seeing and restaurant recommendations.

Family Vacation

Loved the flowing creek in the morning which had a family of deer to watch each morning. Great location in the middle of all the sites, Custer, Rushmore, Spearfish, Deadwood and Rapid City.

Good central location in the Black Hills

This is a nice place, tucked in by a wonderful trail and the local football field. Very quiet area and lots of wildlife. A central location for exploring both the north and south ends of the Black Hills. The house had all the amenities we needed and just enough room for a couple and a dog.

Great Property

We had a great time on our vacation in large part due to the great property that we rented from Ken and Kibbe. They made sure we had everything we needed and were perfect hosts. I would highly recommend this property.

Weekend getaway

We stayed here with my parents from Colorado. The place was very clean and quaint. It was perfect for a weekend getaway for four people. Our only regret is that we didn’t spend more time there. The owner called us to check in and that made for a very personable experience. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location in the Black Hills

Great location, next to a nature trail, a small river stream, and the school football field/track. lots of wildlife running nearby (deer, rabbits, lots of birds). We would go for a walk on the trail and school track in the mornings. Ken, the owner, stayed onsite during our stay,was very helpful and quick to respond. Had no issues and would love to stay again.

Hill City

We had a great time. This house is in the perfect place close to everything 1800 train ride, Crazy Horse, Mountain Rushmore. House was clean and the beds was very comfortable. There a picnic table outside we had a lunch out there everyday. The deers would come in yard ever morning and evening. Thank you for letting us stay.

SD trip

House was adequate except no air conditioning in bedrooms. Paper towels were hung as curtains on front door. Discrepancies in check in times as well as door code and parking. Owner stays in apartment behind garage. 1/2 of Garage was supposed to be available for use but was full. South Dakota is beautiful.

Family Roadtrip

This was a great base for our family weekend in the black hills. It was centrally located for everything we wanted to do. Stayed with my partner, our two dogs, my parents and three nieces. The sofa is a sleeper sofa that was a good spot for the kiddos to sleep. We really enjoyed the large deck and sitting peacefully outside by the flowing creek, watching the deer, butterflies and birds. Interior space was a little cramped for a group of our size but that didn’t much matter as we spent most of our time exploring the area. We were able to meet the property owners and learn more about the area and they shared their suggestions, Custer State Park is a can’t miss.

LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION!

When looking for a rental, we originally were looking at RV rentals. This has a full size shower, and much more elbow room, but you are still on a private lot and feel near the woods, with the creek running right behind. The traffic on Hill City Main Street can't be heard, but you are still a nice walking distance to all those things. This isn't the Ritz, but it isn't priced like it is either. Furniture is nice, wrap around deck is fantastic, but home is older. Very well stocked kitchen, with many choices of pans and dishes etc. Fire ring right outside the back door, picnic table both great additions. Owner was easy to work with.. If you are looking to stay in or around the Hills, this is a bargain not to overlook.

Did not like only Roku TV. Could not find any live local channels for info and weather. Could not watch live sports games. Hot water in kitchen barely works. Beds were hard for out taste. Owner was friendly and gave us tips on where to eat or visit in area.

Great home with great views.

This is a perfect place to stay while seeing the Black Hills. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Hill City. Well furnished and clean. The owners were easy to work with. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

Comfy in the Black Hills

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this property so much. We want to come back! The beds were super comfy. The weather fluctuated during our stay and it was easy to adjust the heating/cooling in accordance with the rules. It was easy to reach out to the owners when we needed help. The downtown area is truly within walking distance. And the people are genuine and kind. There are restaurants that stay open late, which helped when we came back from sight-seeing all day. Rapid City, Mt. Rushmore, and the Crazy Horse Memorial are quite close. This property had everything we needed and then some. My husband and I enjoyed everything about it.

Great in town location!

If you are looking for a great location in town with some peace & quiet this place is perfect. Small creek runs behind house and our dogs loved playing in it! House was fully stocked with everything you need including all paper products, bathroom items and kitchen items! Beds were super comfy and we all slept like babies every night! Thanks Ken for a great stay!
