Charming cottage on the Plaine Joux slopes (1400 m)

CHALET:
This Savoyard chalet is located in the small resort of Plaine Joux - Passy at 1400 m altitude, opposite the Mont Blanc massif. The village of Plateau d'Assy is 10min drive to amenities.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, living / dining room, great room (2 double beds and 2 single beds).

ACCESS:
Du Fayet station is 25min.
Italy (through the Mont Blanc tunnel), Geneva (airport), and Annecy is 1 hour.

ACTIVITIES:
On site skiing, sledding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, walking, hiking, paragliding
In the neighborhoods: summer tobogganing, rafting

ENVIRONMENT:
The resort is south facing. This sunlight is a major asset for the resort which offers winter and summer of pleasant walking routes storied of 1400-2400 m. The resort is family type and is more appropriate for beginners. Also you can rent your ski there. However other resorts of Chamonix, St Gervais and Megève are 30minutes.
In winter you will ski possibilities of course, snowshoes, cross-country skiing, ski touring, tobogganing, and other specific activities, and summer you will be hard at work for various hikes in the nature reserve red needles of Chamonix which Plaine-Joux is the eastern boundary. Lakes exceptional mountains like Pormenaz and Anterne dazzle you.
Access is always easy and snow removal adret this is very fast; Nevertheless, at 1400 meters winter equipment will be desired ...
Eventually the station was empty day you nearly remain 'alone in nature'; then you will make a roaring fire in the fireplace enjoying local specialties, as you prefer. Otherwise you will always went to the 3 options nearby restaurants.
The cottage dates from 1860, restored in 1975 and retains its thick walls and framing massive trunks.
