Quiet and Spacious Waterfront Condo across the street from beach!

Welcome to Captain's Cove! A quiet 27-unit community in Indian Shores, FL located directly on the intracoastal waters and right across the street from the white sands beach: the best of both worlds! See a variety of birds, mullet that jump high out of the water and even stingrays, dolphins and manatees right off the balcony! The complex also has a private pier where you can fish or watch the boats go by.

Spend mornings out on the balcony with the triple-paned sliding glass door boasting a breathtaking water view as you sip your coffee, or in the evenings enjoy a glass of wine and watch the fish jump. This condo is in the end building, closest to the calm intracoastal waters. The beach access is just a few hundred yards away from your door!

Built in 2002, this top-floor unit has a spacious living area with a 55-inch smart TV, high-speed wifi, and updated furnishings including a sofa with pull-out queen memory foam mattress for extra guests. The open floor plan also has a dining area with new table and chairs as well as additional seating at the kitchen counter.

Enjoy the roomy master with walk-in closet and private bathroom, new furniture (king bed) and flat screen tv. The second bedroom has twin beds and its own tv and shares the spacious hall bathroom with tub/shower combo.

This home includes everything you need to feel at home: dishes, glasses, utensils, and appliances including a dishwasher. Beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, beach towels and a wheeled cooler will help you enjoy the beach. All linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided as well. Other amenities include a heated pool, covered parking and a brand new in-unit washer/dryer.

You can enjoy the quiet, peaceful tranquility of Indian Shores as home base, with endless activities nearby. Travel just a few miles north by car, trolley or Uber/Lyft to see all that Clearwater Beach has to offer, or just down Gulf Blvd to John's Pass, Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach. Also a short drive away is downtown St. Pete, boasting miles of shops, museums, restaurants and brewpubs.

There is plenty within walking distance as well, including an ice cream shop, bars, restaurants and a convenience / bait store. Gear can be rented just down the street for you to enjoy kayaking, boating, paddleboarding, biking and more.

Lots of extras included in this unit, and you will receive a welcome letter with my personal recommendations about restaurants, shopping, area attractions and excursions. I’m happy to help you plan your trip to make it special. Any questions – just ask!

Two important items to note before choosing this property: it is on the second floor, and there is no elevator. So you will have to go up and down steps - 28 of them to be exact. Also, there is under-building parking that has a vehicle limit of 6 feet 6 inches; if your vehicle exceeds that, you are welcome to park out front.

Our family of four (mom, dad, and 2 teenage girls) loved our spring break stay at this cozy condo. The view from the balcony is lovely, and the you are not blasted with sun so you can read or drink your coffee comfortably in the shade. The condo is well appointed with kitchen and beach items. The walk to the beach is quick, and the condo’s pool is very nice and was never overcrowded. We loved the quiet and friendly vibe of Indian Shores with easy access to nearby attractions. And you can’t beat the sunsets over the gulf. Jean is an amazing host who made the booking, check-in, and check-out processes quick and simple. She also gave us helpful recommendations for nearby activities and restaurants and was quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend booking with Jean!

Jeanine is very responsive and super helpful. My wife and I have been visiting the area for around 30 years. The condo was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. It is very clean. It has everything you would want or need. The location is great. The pool and grounds are great. The view of the intercostal was gorgeous. Be aware there is no elevator. Carrying heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs was a little tricky but for us a minor inconvenience. We would love to stay again!!!

Such an amazing stay! This condo is STUNNING! Perfect location, just a quick walk across the street to the beach and an easy drive to John’s Pass and Clearwater Beach. Jean was incredible, working with our check in time when we arrived earlier than expected, and the love and time she has put into this place does not go unnoticed. We saw plenty of dolphins and manatees from the balcony and pier on the property, even did some fishing! We cannot wait to come back again!

We had an amazing time! The kids loved the fishing, saw alot of dolphins! and the beach, of couse! My only slight negative was from the description and the pictures I assumed the beach was right across the street from the condo. But it wasn't far, we just had a lot to carry, a wagon really helped. This condo was amazing! It’s just like the pictures show and was very clean when we arrived! The neighborhood was quiet! Stunning place to relax

Wonderful week spent here with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend. After a week in Orlando, this was a much needed change of pace. I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of this condo. Stunning location, very comfortable and super convenient for the beach and many bars and restaurants. Jean had thought of everything for any guests choosing to stay and her communication was excellent from day one right up until leaving. Bayfront Beauty

We loved this place. Pictures are very accurate. She has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of beach chairs, coolers etc. Very clean. The balcony out front was great for morning coffee, enjoyed watching the dolphins and boats go by. Jean was very easy to reach if you need anything. Hope to come back next year!
