Family getaway at Domaine de Litteau

Rent in Normandy (Calvados) in the heart of the forest, near the Beaches, 1h30 from Mont Saint-Michel. Very nice mobile home for 4 people: 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and one with two solo beds and a convertible sofa for 2 which is in the living room. Heated swimming pool, pétanque, BMX with animation club and lots of other activities.

It is often by the astonishing coastline of Normandy, with its kilometers of golden beaches, that families discover France. And if you like amazing sites, let yourself be captivated by the extraordinary and mysterious beauty of Mont-Saint-Michel.

The landing beaches
The beach of Grandcamp (28 km), Arromanches (30 km), Port-en-Bessin (30 km), Omaha Beach (34 km), etc.

The Mont Saint Michel
and its bay are among the "western wonders". Discover the Gothic abbey of the Benedictine monks dedicated to the Archangel Saint Michael and the village emerging from the shadows of its great walls (1 hour).

The medieval town of Bayeux
offers you its tapestry museum with its famous 11th century embroidery, its memorial museum of the Battle of Normandy, its military cemetery and the British memorial (15 minutes away).

The Baron Gérard Art and History Museum is listed as the Musée de France "MAHB". It is dedicated to the history of Bayeux and its region. Its rich collections touch all areas of heritage from prehistory to contemporary times (archeology, fine arts, porcelain and Bayeux lace ...).

The swimming pool is chargeable throughout the year

In the campsite there are children's clubs twice a day for three age groups. There is also entertainment every evening at the bar as well as free wifi. If you want more you will have to buy it at the reception

Compact caravan

Unable to get on or off site for 2days. Barriers would not open, what I thought was cctv was number plate readers. Motorcycle don't have front number plate. No room in the bed rooms beds took up about 95% of the room. Cable or satellite stated, this is incorrect airel only. Had to use phone to translate they spoke no English. The agent was late on hardback and took ages counting all the items in the van. The washing machine and dryer was on the site it only took tokens which were purtched from reception. The park was clean and tidy though.

Le domaine des 4 vacanciers

Très bonne accueil,Nous avons passer un très bon séjour, la piscine pour ce domaine en Normandie et une très bonne idée, les jeux et les activités sont excellent pour les enfants, le soir il y a de la musique c'est très bien pour les gens avec encore de l'énergie. Nous allons y retourner l'année prochaine. C'est pour quoi nous vous recommandons d y aller Le domaine de Litteau est agréable

Midweek verblijf I.v.m. De 75 jarige herdenking D day

De stacaravan is leuk maar erg klein voor 6 personen. Het is geschikt voor Max 3 volwassenen of 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Camping is opzicht er leuk en mooi centraal. De accomodatie is bij uitstek geschikt voor Normandië- gangers die de stranden van D day willen bezoeken. Dat was ook ons doel met 3 personen of een klein gezinnetje. De communicatie met de eigenaresse is zeer goed en erg leuk.

Mobil home qui ne correspond pas à la qualité du domaine de Litteau classé 4 *

Mobil home dont l'aménagement ne correspond pas au domaine qui est classé 4*, en effet, la pièce de vie commune est minuscule et il est difficile d'y loger à 6 pour y prendre un repas, sachant qu'ensuite il faut tout bien ranger pour déplier le clic clac...et qu'il n'y a pas de place pour ranger ! De plus aucun espace pour ranger son "épicerie", le seul que nous avons trouvé pour le vinaigre, l'huile et autre choses un peu haute était devant la petite télé (que nous avons du réparer pour qu'elle fonctionne). Le reste est resté rangé dans des paniers ou cartons à même le sol...Oui il y a un grille pain...situé à 2m de haut juste sous le plafond...avec un cordon électrique qui permet de l'allumer tout en biais sur l'évier (sécurité ???), ou bien directement à même le sol...La cafetière électrique est installée à 1m65 de hauteur...donc vérifiez votre taille avant de louer...Un petit four électrique qui pourrait être utile s'il y avait un plat allant au four...Pour préparer les repas et déjeuner, je ne sais même pas si on peut dire que le minimum est à disposition. Cela s'apparente plus à du camping improvisé qu'à une location 4*....pas de saladier pour faire des salades...pas d'assiettes ou ramequins pour les desserts...pas suffisamment de verres et d'assiettes plates pour 6 personnes...sachant qu'elles doivent aussi faire office de plats. A tout cela shakira répond que c'est à nous d'amener ce dont nous avons besoin : boule ou passoire à thé, saladiers Bref le séjour s'est terminé le matin tôt par un panne de gaz (=gazinière et eau chaude) avec la belle surprise de découvrir que la seconde bouteille était elle aussi vide ! C'est une location où l'on ne pense pas au bien être des vacanciers mais à leur fournir le minimum....si jamais vous voulez déguster des crustacés amenez casse noix et petites fourchettes ainsi que couteau à huitres. Même dans des locations à 2* on trouve beaucoup plus de matériel pour cuisiner sans chercher à faire de la grande cuisine, mais le minimum pour passer de bonnes vacances. Ce mobil home assez récent ne propose pas du tout une prestation digne du domaine de Litteau classé 4*, mais une prestation de camping municipal...( et encore, parfois ils sont bien plus avenants envers les locataires. Le prix de la location est bien trop élevé pour le service rendu !!! Il faut également savoir que le mobilhome et sa terrasse ( très sympa !) prennent quasiment tout l'emplacement, les transats trouvent alors place en bord de route

Nous avons passé de bonnes vacance dans ce Mobil home, la prioritaire et très accueillante et disponible. Le Mobil homme est conforme à la description et le camping est calme et pratique. Cependant pour la piscine il faut payer un supplement (10 euro / jour pour un adulte et 7 euro / jour )
