About Property Manager
OUR STORY... The Kroener Family migrated to the Paso Robles promised land from Southern California in 1996. Jim and Suzanne and daughter Jamie and son Steve discovered the magic of the Central Coast while living the dream at Silver Horse Vineyard and Winery in San Miguel. It was here they grew premium wine grapes and operated the winery, tasting room and the fabulous Special Events Center, with Jim in the vineyard, Steve as Winemaker, producing numerous award winning vintages, and Jamie heading up the sales department. The ensuing years brought some changes. Jamie got married and relocated to the East Coast with her new family. Steve got married, moved to San Luis Obispo with his new family, and continues to operate Silver Horse Winery and is also co-owner of Krobar Craft Distillery in Paso Robles, producing an impressive and varied repertoire of fine distilled spirits. Jim and Suzanne got a little older and moved into the "urban metropolis" of downtown Paso Robles. They discovered the Heaton House in 2017 and figured others might like to experience the unique ambiance of downtown Paso while living the dream in one of the classic structures in the original "downtown" area of the city. Everyone should be so lucky to experience the uniqueness of the Central Coast.

Why Property Manager chose Paso Robles
You are downtown so you literally can walk all around the downtown square for dining, cocktails, shopping, wine tasting and events at the park. We are one of the closest vacation rentals to the square. The fabulous Buena Tavola Restaurant is just next door. We are across the street from the Paso Robles Inn where you can enjoy cocktails and brunch on their patio by the Koi Pond. You can also see the historic downtown park from our front porch where several events are hosted such as the Wine, Olive, Lavender and Honey Festivals as well as art shows and local Farmers Market every Tuesday afternoon and Saturday mornings. Seasonal activities and celebrations just around the corner are the Pioneer Day Parade (October), Elegant Evening (November), Christmas Parade and Vine Street Showcase (December).
What makes this House unique
We have HISTORY! This property was the home of a distinguished Paso Robles family, the Rollin C. Heaton family. The home was built about 1925 and was deemed quite modern for its time. Listed in the 1984 Historic Resources Inventory, it was described as a bungalow which retains "its original style after many years" and contributes "to the scale and rhythm of this street". The architect and boiler are unknown. The value of the home as shown on the 1920 census was $5000.
