Apartment 201 at 80 LEX is special. It’s probably not like anything you have at home, but it is exactly the urban-chic feel you seek in Asheville. It is industrial. It is warm. It is creative inspiration.

It is home. Or, a home-away-from-home, at least.

Apartment 201 at 80 LEX is professionally designed for an ultra-custom feel. We’re talking details like brick feature walls, custom upholstery, locally made mattresses, and a curated collection of antique and new furnishings. Vintage barware. Thickly layered texture, color, and patterns. Funky wallpaper. Handpicked art.

This is where modern meets old world, and it couldn’t be any more Asheville. It’s the perfect complement to your downtown experience.

Easy parking- One free designated off street parking space one block away.

When it comes to parking, 80 LEX could just as easily be name Easy Street: parking here is simple! And that’s exactly how it should be, when you’re on vacation.

You don’t need a car to enjoy downtown Asheville (our walk score: 93!), but if you bring one, here are your options:

Additional paid parking options:
Parking Decks: Our preferred parking option! Both the City of Asheville and Buncombe County operate safe, reliable and inexpensive parking decks. The first half hour is free and the full-day rate is just $20, so feel free to leave your vehicle overnight. There are several parking decks within walking distance of 80 LEX on Rankin Ave; we’ll send all the details with your booking confirmation.

On-Street Parking: There are more than 700 on-street metered parking spaces in downtown Asheville. All meters are for short-term parking (two hours or less, as marked), at a cost of $1.50 per hour . On-street metered parking is free on holidays, Sundays, and every day after 6 pm.

Loading Zones: There is one right in from If you’re arriving via taxi, Uber, or Lyft, feel free to unload in one of Asheville’s dedicated loading zones, limited to 30 minutes (or less, as marked).

Accessing 201 requires climbing one flight of stairs, (22 stairs total). One free parking space is provided one block away in an open, private parking lot , next to condo complex. The apartment is in downtown Asheville, an urban setting, in a multi-tenanted building. Usual sights and sound of city living should be expected.

Downtown luxury at its finest! 80 Lex 201 was not only absolutely gorgeous in design and comfort, It also had the best location for wandering through Asheville. The parking is super convenient and not too far from the apartment. The parking is up a pretty steep hill and you need to walk up a flight of stairs the access the apartment from the front foyer of the building, but it’s Asheville, so if anyone is deterred by hills and stairs, they should rethink the city but this apartment. It was perfect.

Fantastic

Comfortable, clean, quiet, well-appointed apartment in a great location downtown. Run by a very responsive property management company. Parking is just a short walk away, and there is a 30 minute spot outside for loading and unloading. We liked it so much we extended our stay.

Best place to stay!

This place has a great vibe, was very clean, had everything we needed to stay and to cook - and with two great stores near by (Whole Foods and Trader Joes) it was soooo easy! The host was very responsive. The experience was completely great, would 10/10 stay there again. Wish I could give it more stars.

Exploring Asheville

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Asheville! The accommodation at 80 N. Lexington was the perfect location for exploring the downtown area since everything was within walking distance. The apartment was beautifully appointed with every need anticipated. Asheville has a lively art and music scene and this location is close to many popular downtown venues for dining and live music, as well as art galleries. Anyone wanting to explore Asheville for the first time would find this a great space since it puts you in the middle of the action while staying in a very comfortable and beautiful space.

The flat looks just like the pictures, so totally amazing. Great location, although parking is a bit of a hassle (although there is an hourly rate lot right across the street). But the unit is very well appointed, and you have pretty much everything you need for the trip to be a lot more than simply staying in a hotel. Given that we drank coffee at Izzy's, had dinner at the Indian restaurant, and went to the Crown and Quill speakeasy bar a block away, we kinda got spoiled by doing it all in the same block. Anyway, great unit--just like it looks.

We absolutely loved this property. It had so much to offer as far as kitchen supplies, cleanliness, and most of all, location! We never needed our car. Walkable to all of the shops and restaurants.

Amazing!

Absolutely stunning place! It was incredibly clean, had everything we needed and more. Instructions for arrival and departure easy. If we come back to Asheville, we will definitely stay here again. There is a great parking garage which is reasonable close by. This was one of the best apartment loft we have stayed in! Thank you. Extra thanks to such a great cleaning staff. It is very clean and organized!

Stellar Experience!

From the location, to the unit itself, you really can’t get any better than this place! We drove down for a concert at Harrah’s Cherokee center. The condo was quite literally on the street over. It couldn’t have been easier. The unit was stunning and the vibes were perfect. We will be planning another stay just to hangout in the unit longer and explore more of the city. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting a luxurious, relaxing stay in downtown Asheville.

Top notch downtown Asheville rental

This is really one of my favorite downtown Asheville rentals. You can walk everywhere yet they were careful to embed the bedroom inside in such a way as to reduce sound. Modern and very clean. Though no private parking, attend to the recommendation to use the Rankin garage. $20 a day and you can forget about your car, as you won’t need it. I’ll come back to this one.

Growing up Santa Fe, NM I saw a unique blend of artistic community, endless outdoor opportunities, interesting history, beautiful landscapes, and a diverse mix of cultures.

Though far from Santa Fe and a different climate, I arrived in Asheville in the early 90’s to practice Chinese Medicine and felt some of the same elements at play. Asheville was not well known, but you could feel the energy building and the mixture of art, landscape, environment, history and community all coming together. It reminded me of my ‘early days’ in Santa Fe. One of my closest friends was Andy Brokmeyer, who I told for several years that he needed to come to Asheville, as it was a dynamic and exciting place. We were also avid kayakers, and Asheville has been a Mecca for kayaking since the early days of the sport so I knew I could lure him out with the promise of all the great rivers in the area.

He came out ‘for a visit’ and hasn’t left. That was 16 years ago.
Asheville has grown into the most happening place in the region, far beyond my expectations, and has sustained an authentic, community oriented and dynamic quality. Like my dad used to say about few places, it has ‘cultural energy’.

Though both Andy and I had done some residential real estate investment and development, 80 N Lexington was our first move into the commercial side. It was an old building, greatly in need of repair, and was a bit removed from the core downtown commercial traffic. We scraped together what we could and fixed it up, with an eye towards something special in the future.

Now, many years later, North Lexington Ave is hopping, with restaurants, breweries, bars, tea houses, coffee shops, galleries and wonderful, diverse retail shops right out the door.

And 80 N Lexington has been transformed into a blend of funky, hip, and industrial intertwined with lush, upscale design. A mix of style and comfort that is unique and authentically Asheville.
