Welcome to “Lakefront Hideaway” a very serene and quiet getaway. Nestled on the side of Dunns Lake in Litchfield, MN. This cabin getaway is perfect for escaping the city hustle and bustle for a calm and relaxing waterfront retreat. This cabin is owned and built by a craftsman who has been building custom homes for 25+ years (2009) and carries the warm and inviting classic log cabin allure you have been looking for, it will certainly make you feel right at home.
The living space is filled with floor to ceiling windows, giving you a beautiful view of the lake and those amazing Minnesota sunsets can be experienced as the sun sets directly across the lake from the deck. In the kitchen there is a large island, and plenty of counter space to cook or entertain, as well as having updated appliances.
With 1,700 square feet, “Lakefront Hideaway” comfortable sleeps 6 people. There is one 1 queen sized bed in the main floor bedroom, and another queen-sized bed in the upstairs loft area. In the second bedroom above the garage, there is 2 twin sized beds and plenty of room to accommodate a queen size blow-up mattress.
Outside you will find a large patio with a beautiful built in fire place, as well as a large yard for activities. No residents or homes are across the lake, so your view is of all wooded forest. If you want to relax in a hammock, kayak the lake, grill, or play some bean bags, you can find all of these things and more at “Lakefront Hideaway”. The dock is large enough to accommodate a boat and/or jet ski, and the public access is just down the street, making this the perfect quiet and relaxing cabin getaway.
Dunns Lake is great for water activities and fishing where you can find such fish as : Bass, Crappie, Sunfish, Walleye and Northern Pike. Entry to the lake from the cabin does not have a sandy beach. There are some rocks to navigate or you can enter from the dock itself. The lake itself is just under 200 acres.
**To access “Lakefront Hideaway”, you must drive on gravel roads in order to gain access to the cabin.

• NO smoking inside the cabin or in the garage
***All renters are required to sign Minnestay's Rental Agreement, Prior to check in. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. A photo ID is also required prior to check in.

• Meeker Memorial Hospital
• Millner Heritage Vineyard and Winery (Close by and fun – bring your picnic blanket! Especially when there are events)
• Starlite Drive-In Movie Theater (Pay for current movie starting at dark and you can stay for a movie that was just out a couple of months ago afterward; also, great prices on popcorn, pop, etc. – bring bug spray)
• Powder Ridge Ski Area (even if you don’t ski, like us – the tubing is a great deal and a lot of fun)
• Twine Ball Museum (World’s Largest Twine Ball!)
• Wal-Mart Super Center (if you forgot anything or need groceries, this is the place!)
• Restaurants/Fast Food/Coffee Shops
o Note: unfortunately, no pizza delivery to the cabin
o Our favorite/go-to: Heroes at the VFW (kid-friendly, Sunday brunch, great Bloody Mary’s served daily, fun martini selection)
o We also like (especially on Saturday nights): Peter’s on Lake Ripley (kid-friendly, supper club, great salad bar, excellent popovers)
o Good breakfast w/kids: Swans (similar to a Country Kitchen/Perkins, kid-friendly)
