This rustic two-story newly renovated cabin is right on a creek with a covered bridge and water wheel. There is a new mini split system for heating and air conditioning with remote control thermostats. About James and Melissa Yonce
We both grew up in Murphy, attended Murphy High School together which is where we met and dated for a period of time, later to meet up again, marry and so far live happily ever after. We enjoy working on projects, spending time with family, spoiling our two grand boys, ages 9 and 5, and keeping up with all the ballgames and events they are involved in.
James and Melissa Yonce purchased this Cabin in 2003
Why James and Melissa Yonce chose Upper Peachtree
We would like you to come enjoy our cabin. We have so much love for the cabin as we call it; from the beginning of construction by our father/father-n-law, when he was developing the property in the late 1980's up to present day after our renovating. We love the location by the creek and enjoy walking over and listening to the water wheel while we sit on the covered porch at times when it is vacant. We lived in the cabin for almost ten years until one day the property across the road was in foreclosure and we were able to purchase that piece of land and later build our new home. The cabin holds many dear memories for us and our families and we hope you enjoy your time here.

We had a lovely week!
The cabin and grounds were wonderful. Very charming and relaxing. Lots of homey touches. The kitchen was well supplied with all necessary utensils. Landlords were very responsive.
We really enjoyed the week we spent in the cabin and hope to go back soon!
So glad you got to stay at the cabin. We are glad you had a good week. Thanks for leaving the outside game and leaving the cabin so clean. We hope you come back soon.
Beautiful and peaceful place. Had an incredible weekend there. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Amazing cabin. Great amenities
So glad you enjoyed the cabin. The frost on Sunday morning was our first frost of the year, almost looked like a dusting of snow.
This property is beautiful and very relaxing,,,,inside is tastefully decorated,,,loved it,,,will definitely return.
So glad you'll enjoyed the cabin. We look forward to you staying again!!
The Bridges Cabin was a perfect spot to stay.
My Dad and I had a great time, riding our motorcycles in the mountains. The Bridges Cabin was a perfect spot to stay. We were able to park our trailer across the street, still within view and park our bikes on the concrete pad. The cabin was clean and comfortable. James and Melissa has made it feel like home. Fully stocked kitchen (that included a wine opener), plenty of plush towels, soft toilet paper, and clean, cozy beds. The Bridges Cabin was the perfect touch for our mountain get a way.
So glad you and your dad had such a great trip. What a blessing to spend the weekend with your dad. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin and had good weather for riding.
Great place to unwind
Love this cabin, rustic and very homey. It is well stocked with everything you need and very clean. My family and I had a great time and loved the sound of the water wheel. Thanks Melissa!!!
So glad you and your family got to get away and check out the cabin and waterwheel. It is always great to travel and get a break. Thanks Loraine.
It was great! Nice place and location, with all we needed.
Owners responded to anything we needed ahead of time. Needed an ax to split wood for fire pit and poof there it was when we got back. Smores ingredients were waiting for us when we arrived. It could easily sleep 8 or 9 if there was a second bathroom with shower. Water wheel is pretty cool and nice to sleep with door open to hear it running. We are a family of 4 with 16 and 13 year old boys. Highly recommend it.
So glad you'll enjoyed the cabin. We loved having you stay. When we lived at the cabin, the water wheel was our favorite sound for sleeping also. Glad the boys had fun and enjoyed the smores.
