Come escape the mad rush of the city and enjoy the slower pace of island life in beautiful Anacortes on Fidalgo Island.
Rest at our island oasis rambler with large private backyard equipped with a BBQ, patio table and firepit -just perfect for relaxation. Our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home has an additional large bonus room that can accommodate a full size inflatable bed. 70" Smart TV with fully stocked DVD Shelves and an original Xbox with a good supply of games. Kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove/warming oven, microwave and dishwasher. Stocked with ample pots and pans, serving dishes and utensils. Keurig Coffee maker, paper towels, salt & Pepper, foil & plastic wrap is available.

We are centrally located to all that this area has to offer -Just a quick mile into town will allow you to enjoy the monthly festivals, events and Farmer's Market that Anacortes has to offer year round! Along with the numerous shopping and dining options and movie theater we are the perfect location for fun as well as rest. Just one block from the Puget sound, about 2 miles to beautiful Washington Park, 1 mile from the Guemes Island Ferry . Cranberry lake is just 1 mile away if you want to get lost on a network of hiking trails or go for a swim and we are just a 15 minute drive from Beautiful Deception Pass! We're in the ideal location if you want to be close to the Anacortes/San Juan Ferry. Just 1.5 miles away and you can either drive on on walk on and enjoy the day cruising through the Beautiful San Juan Islands. Head home for the day and enjoy the peaceful yard bbqing and watching the deer graze in the yard.

Meticulously clean, easy to operate

This is a mid-century Rambler, recently updated -- the owners keep it meticulously clean and have organized and furnished the place to make it easy to operate. We appreciated the layout: the playroom / den with the TV screen (and our rambunctious daughter) is on one side of the house, the bedrooms on the other. The kitchen and dining room are in the middle of the house (kitchen is well-equipped: easy to cook in). The four of us (one grandparent, two parents, and one child) fit easily into this space.

Two days to play

Awesome Anacortes Home

This was a great place to stay for our weeklong visit with family. Plenty of space, great backyard and in a great neighborhood. The host was very responsive to any questions and I will definitely look at staying here again!

Whale watching

Nice home

This is a nice house and yard decorated in a modern farm style.Very clean with comfortable beds. IGNORE the picture of the old TV in bonus room. The have a beautiful 70" in there now plus a smaller one in master bedroom. As others have noted it is not a traditional 2 bath in the fact that the 2nd bathroom is located on the other side of the house between the kitchen and laundry area however it is right next to the bonus room and if you are sleeping in that room you can close the door behind the kitchen and make it a true master suite with ensuite. Would definitely stay again.

Very well appointed property

This was one of our top 5 ever stays. There is everything you could want in this house and more!!! Big back yard. Very quiet. Large spaces if the kids need to go play in the tv room. Excellent communication when we needed to extend our stay. Highly recommended.

Anacortes Getaway

Clean, comfortable and convenient. My sister and I enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Family with young children came for a holiday meal. The rec room was perfect for the children to play.

Family vacation

What a wonderful place and property. Close to ferries, downtown and state parks for hiking. Beautiful area with beautiful views everywhere. Had to call owner once with a question and he was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for a good week. Made lifetime memories.

Beautiful, comfortable home

First, the area is very quiet at night so sleep is easy. Second, the home has a good vibe: comfortable furniture, a great dining area, a well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable beds. Two bathrooms was wonderful for our family too. We did not require heat or the fireplace since the weather was around 67* and the location is so close to the waterfront where we had booked a whale watching trip with our grandsons. There is a good offering of books for reading pleasure though we were there just two days. This was a nice large home where the boys had their own hangout spot.

Quiet and close to fun

Very clean older home on a large lot in a quiet neighborhood. Cozy, comfortable beds. No air conditioning but fans were available. Small, well equipped kitchen. The main bath shares the hallway with the 2 bedrooms. The 2nd bath is a toilet and stall shower in a small room and the vanity is in the laundry room... same general area. Overall the home and backyard are nice spaces.... we would stay again.

Lovely & location perfect

Had a wonderful 4 nights in Anacortes. The perfect homebase for all pur plans - drive to Vancouver for the day, whale watching out of Cap Sante Marina, ferry to Friday Harbor. Datling house with comfy beds, tons of room & hot water for all of us. Had drinks & did puzzles in the quiet backyard plus firepit relaxation. The huge movie room was great for putting up our feet & resting after our busy days. Loooved everything about this home. Oh & saw deer & bunniesin the front yard!!!!

Amazing home in Anacordes

The home is better than the pictures ! We had everything we needed , very well supplied kitchen and home. The home is located in a great neighborhood, close to everything in Anacordes with numerous close by trails and scenic spots.

Perfect for a stay in the San Juans

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic being only minutes from town or the ferry. The home is super clean, well appointed and surprisingly spacious. The beds were very comfortable with more than enough pillows (yay!). Kitchen was well equipped particularly in the coffee department (another yay!) This is a well executed vacation rental - the hosts obviously know a thing or two about hospitality. They made our stay a very pleasant experience

Nice stay

Very roomy and tidy home. The two beds were comfortable and our children loved the huge tv room and slept well in there with the easy blow up mattress and ottoman foldout bed. Owners were very responsive and helpful with some questions I had about the local area. Would stay again if the house is available the next time we are in the area.
