At the heart of the regional park of the Grands Causses, on the edge of the Tarn, shaded and surrounded by nature. Halfway between the Millau Viaduct and Roquefort cheese caves, close to the UNESCO listed Larzac plateau you will enjoy the family atmosphere of our small campsite, with its beach lifeguard, his restaurant feet in the water, water rentals and tranquility that surrounds the place. With 6 cabins and 6 new mobile homes is a human scale!
In the shade of trees that populate fifties the site you will have the pleasure to enjoy the sound of crickets, ballet tightrope squirrels or rabbits walk. With a capacity of 4 to 6 places, the cottages are fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and toilet, covered terrace with garden furniture, heating, large pitches, barbecue, free WiFi internet, parking. The chalets are well spaced from each other, allowing you to have some privacy. A beach with safe swimming allow you to enjoy the Tarn river whose water is classified as A. The water is calm, ideal for children to swim. The nautical offers canoe rentals, motor boat without a license and pedalo. It is installed on the edge of Tarn like the restaurant, the terrace offers a magnificent view of the lake.
A hundred meters away is the waterfall of Saint Rome and many hiking trails departures and ATVs. You can, in the surroundings, ride a horse, discover the Templar sites of Larzac, the Roquefort caves, the Gorges du Tarn, the Dourbie, the Millau Viaduct, introduce you to the tree climbing or discover the insects Micropolis.
You get on-site services such as games for children, a football field, a tennis court, laundry, bread and mail .....
The village is located 5 minutes walk, it has all the services: bakery, newspapers, restaurants, tobacco, pharmacy, doctor, petrol station, hairdresser, grocery store, post office, artisans of art .... The markets countries allow you to discover the wealth of Aveyron land at reasonable prices.

Obliger de changer de chalet car fuit au sanitaires et plus de télévision et dans le second pas d'eau chaude je suis quand même un peu déçu mais le point positif ses que Joris le responsable est très réactif donc merci Joris pour votre sympathie 👍👍
Super accueil au camping de la base nautique. Sourires et réactivité sont de rigueur!
Le camping est idéalement situé en pleine nature au bord du Tarn. Cygnes,poissons,canards,lérots... vous ne serez pas déçu!

Vacances tranquilles et au naturel au bord du Tarn
Merci à Boris et son équipe pour leur accueil, quelque soit l'heure d'arrivée...
Le camping est tranquille au bord du Tarn.Le chalet est petit (mais on est tout le temps dehors) et bien équipé. La base nautique offre de multiples activités et le plan d'eau est magnifique . L'endroit est idéal pour les activités sportives(canoé, randonnées, VTT,via ferrata) et pour découvrir le patrimoine culturel de la région ( places fortes des templiers et des hospitaliers). Le Tarn offre des points de vue superbes à chaque méandre . A visiter également, le village de Peyre (un des plus beaux village de France) qui est situé à peine à une dizaine de kilométres de St Rome de Tarn.

Un petit coin de paradis
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un chalet ombragé, légérement en hauteur avec vue sur Tarn. Le cadre est magnifique avec ses beaux arbre et la proximité de l'eau émeraude du Tarn. Le chalet, petit mais parfaitement agencé, est idéal pour un séjour estival pour 4 personnes, la belle terrasse en bois est appréciable ainsi que la disponibilité d'un vrai barbecue en dur.
Nos hôtes ont toujours été à notre écoute et ont su faire preuve de beaucoup de professionnalisme pour régler un problème de manque d'eau chaude en nous dédommageant sans que nous en fassions la demande. Bravo à eux!
A recommander pour un séjour nature, tranquille dans une bonne ambiance à deux pas dune base nautique et d'un joli village où soit dit en passant l'Auberge de St Rome propose des plats simples et gouteux avec un accueil charmant et des prix doux.
