Dear guest, Dear Val, Thank you for stating that the villa was perfect, and that you cannot fault it at all. We already sent you the final account and deposit reïmbursement today, tuesday, or 3 days after you left. I am sorry to hear that you did not read what is mentioned in the Homeaway website (under Additional Information) and the very clear contract in 3 languages that you can see and read before booking. Everybody else does, we never had any remark on that. You also did not tell us anything before writing your review, so there was no way to take care of this clear misunderstanding. You did not answer to our mail last tuesday, informing if all was well and if there were any questions, and you signed the electricity meter statement at arrival without any remark to us. The housekeeper has to make a meet-and-greet tour at arrival as well as upon departure, to welcome our guests and explain the functioning of the villa, and to wave them goodbye and wish them a safe journey home. This is so much better than the impersonal key-locker in other places where you have to find out everything yourself. It also gives us feedback on what you liked and what we could possibly improve, and clearly and without possible discussion states there are no damages. You left the house in perfect state, thank you. But you left at 04.00 AM, so the housekeeper had to get up in the middle of the night - which he did. In the contract it is clearly stated that surcharges may apply in that case. This is not for us, but for this man. I am also sorry to hear you had a WIFI problem some day. We did not get a message from you stating so, so we could not do anything about it. In July 2019 we just invested to get the WIFI upgraded from the 10 MBit/s we had (6 MBit/s is standard all around Moraira, in reality in high season about 2 MBit/s) to a better and more expensive system which claims to guarantee us 20 MBit/s. Normally the WIFI should not give any trouble. We use Netflix and Spotify all the time without any problem, even if our kids are gaming on their computers.

It's a pleasure to hear you enjoyed our home. The walk to the beach is downhill about 2 km, so it takes about 20 minutes. The return is uphill and might take more time. We usually use the car, there is plenty of parking space close to the beach.
