Welcome to The Double Tide Beach House located on The Point of Colonial Beach, VA where the Beach is at your finger tips and the views takes you to Beach Time Quickly. Our Beach House offers you 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, Full Kitchen and Spacious Deck to Entertain the Entire Family. We are located on a corner lot and located in walking distance to The Beach, Park and Boat Ramp. We are moments away from the Main Beach Attractions, Dockside Restaurants, Marina, High Tides, Denson's and The River Boat. Enjoy the Sunrise from the Front Deck area, that is Spacious for the Entire Family, The Deck offers a play area for the Children and Deck Furniture with Umbrella Areas.
We have included outdoor toys for the Children to include a covered outdoor area with furniture and propane gas grilling area.

The property is in very nice location. The over stay was very nice. The bathroom commodes needs updating. They to close to the floor making it difficult to stand. The outside furniture was dirty as well as the deck.

Great House!

This home was very comfortable and clean. They had everything you could possibly need from silverware to penne grill. All the beds were very comfortable and set up nicely to enjoy the family. There were lots of games and fun things to do for the children. We certainly enjoyed the big deck and had many meals out on it. Located close to beach and tiki bar was a plus. The town is charming and all the people we met were very friendly. Definitely will be stay at this home again!

Recommended property

The location of this property was great. While not on the water, as the listing states you can certainly see the river from the front deck. It’s a 10 minute walk along a semi-busy road to get to one of the beaches in South Colonial Beach. The beach itself is fine. Decent space, small waves, sandy and rocky shoreline. For whatever reason this time there were a lot of jellyfish in the water so that prohibited the kids from going in much unfortunately. As for the property itself, it’s dated but very spacious. Real solid spot for families as there are three bedrooms, 3 queen beds, and a bunk bed set. Lots of toys, books, and beach toys for the kids as well. The kitchen has all you can ask for in terms of cutlery, plates, etc. Dishes need to be washed by hand but no big deal. Showers have good pressure, beds are comfortable, and again there is good space inside for families to stretch their legs. The only negatives I’d list were the toilet were low to the ground so a tad uncomfortable (what can ya do?), had some bugs in and around one window in the bathroom, and some hedges and plants could use a trim as they are encroaching on the desk. No dealbreakers at all though!

The stay was great. Small minor issues mosquitoes coming in the window of the bathroom,and under the screen door in the livingroom.shrubs needs trimming in the front of the house covering the sidewalk.
