Why Mrs Annette Clarke chose Saint-Raphael
After many years of visiting this beautiful part of France we decided to look for an apartment to purchase and were recommended Valescure, St. Raphael. It was perfect! Just a few kilometers from the coast in a green, lush, peaceful and safe residential area. We originally bought a ground floor apartment but the opportunity arose a few years later to purchase a larger one in the neighbouring building that had a large terrace and superb view. We didn't consider looking elsewhere as we loved everything about this residence.
What makes this apartment unique
The view from the independent, double size terrace was the unique feature of the apartment with the most fabulous view towards the Massif des Maures and the fact that the apartment needed up-dating meant we could put our own stamp on it. We then spent the next year or so completely renovating it. New tiles throughout including the terrace, underfloor heating, creating a second bathroom in what was the original kitchen and having an American-style kitchen in the lounge area. We renewed all the windows and had the shutters changed to electric ones. There were a few challenges along the way!
