The most beautiful view/scenery you could expect. Sun in the morning was like waking up in heaven.
Bathroom needs a little work, shower/toilet is a bit finicky, but the location and spectacular view makes it worth it.
We would book it again.
Location is amazing. Truly. Derrynane, the gardens, the beach, the view...
Sofa / bed could be a bit "thicker".
The drinks on the table with the incredible view...
Even managed to feed the pet lambs - my kids were delighted.

Affordable spot on the Ring of Kerry
Thankfully, this spot had incredible views. Otherwise, it may have been somewhat underwhelming. Overall, the spot worked well for a quick overnight stay along our way on the Ring of Kerry. Unfortunately, the bed was quite firm and the Wifi wasn't working (quite a bummer when you're from out of country with no cell service). Also, this location is a little difficult to find as there was no exact address provided. Would still recommend it to a friend and we discovered an incredible pub / restaurant called the Blind Piper only a few minutes down the road.
This was a joy from the moment we arrived until the time we left. The Snug apartment was pristine in condition and thoughtfully presented with incomparable views of the bay and islands . The owners were so welcoming and supportive. We couldn’t have wished for more.
Couldn’t have been better. Apartment was beautiful and equipped with everything I needed (and lots of lovely touches / local design). The location was great. Thanks
Wow, the location of this property is out of this world. The views are indescribable. You have to be here to fully appreciate the spectacular views. The peace and quiet is unreal. There are amazing places to eat nearby and some lovely little beaches. A trip to Valentia Island was one of the many highlights of our week away. Even picked up some reasonably priced fishing tackle and went fishing for the very first time. Hosts were lovely and welcoming. The snug was the perfect base for our trip. Lovely little home for the week, photos don't do it justice, it is much bigger than it looks on the photographs. Lovely garden too. We spent a lot of time here at the snug, chilling with the baby and just taking in the views. On the whole, an amazing week away from 'real life'. Will definitely come back again one day. Probably for longer next time because a week just isn't long enough. Thank you so much we had a lovely time
We had the best week at the snug apartments in Caherdaniel! Lots to do in the surrounding areas (def need a car or transport) this gorg apartment sits on the side of a mountain and the views are amazing! None of the pics in the advertisement for the apt does it any justice! Over looking derrynane beach it’s just beautiful.
Apartment is lovely, clean upstairs double possibly queen size bed that was soo comfy!
Downstairs pull out sofa bed, have to say this bed was not the most comfy but our little girl slept on a blow up bed also provided by Eileen at house and she was happy enough!
Host was a lovely lady, helpful and after a very late (unexpected) arrival from us still greeted us with a friendly welcoming smile!
We have stayed in many places all over co Kerry and cork and can def say this is top of the list- can’t wait to stay again hopefully in the near future

Situation of this property is superb, views are amazing . The apartment is bigger than I expected. It is basic. The bed is quite hard but the view from the bedroom is wonderful. Eileen is always on hand for information and help. The apartment is on a sheep farm which is another aspect of interest. Caherdaniel has a lot to offer.
This is charming accommodation - homely, comfortable and spotlessely clean with everything we needed. Eileen and Eddie are exceptionally welcoming hosts and provided lots of tips on what to see and where to go.
The view from The Snug is breathtaking. It will stay with me for a long long time to come.
We were very lucky with the weather which allowed us to swim every day and enjoy many beautiful walks in the evening. My daughter fell in love with the family dog and the pet sheep and goat in the field accross the road.
It is a no frills rental. The view is wonderful. We were looking forward to seeing the stars at night but weather didn’t cooperate. Atlantic view did not disappoint. Our host Eileen was very nice.
Très bel endroit avec vue sur la mer.
Calme et sérénité au programme
. Très bien situé pour faire le ring of kerry.
