Breezy trip

We had a fantastic stay at Dean’s cabin! It is small but in the perfect location. It was everything we needed for the perfect getaway. We will definitely be back in the future!

Great Location

Great location with a beautiful view! Cabin was very clean and nicely decorated with everything you would need except WIFI (but if you're on vacation you shouldn't need it anyways). The reason I gave the overall rating as a 4 is I would suggest providing better information for check in and provide some basic information like where to put trash, etc. Other than this I highly recommend this property.

First time at Breezy Point

As a first timer, we were basically confused about what amenities we could use. There was no map of the property so we had to wing it. We discovered the location is very close to the Dockside Bar which provides nightly entertainment. It is loud and you cannot escape the noise since it is just across the street. Pros: Close to beach Gift shop close by to buy any essentials Party atmosphere (if that is what you are looking for) Cons: A lot of electrical “red flags” (my boyfriend is an electrician) Creaky bathroom door Slow shower drain -VERY slow a/c could not keep up with 85+ degrees No microwave ( was in pics) Majority of outside seating was not there (was in pics) The provided grill was rusted out. Provided info in cabin was outdated. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. We will not be booking this location again because we were looking more for quiet and relaxing.

Great location, nice unit but needs some maintenance work.

We appreciated the view of the lake from the property and the deck. There were problems with having no heat but there was at least a space heater. We were surprised to have no internet as well. We were able to tap into the resort website intermittently. There was a need for general maintenance work to keep it looking fresh and clean. It was nicely decorated however and there was plenty of room for cooking etc, just right for two people in terms of size.

Second stay

We rented this property again from Dean for labor day weekend. It was beautiful weather and the bands playing at Dockside were great. Best of all you can enjoy right from the deck. The cabin really does have the prime location and Dean really does take care of the property. Very easy to work with. We are looking forward to staying again in the future.

Not as expected!

I was really excited to visit based on the pictures, but I wasn’t as impressed in person. The owner’s items where littered throughout the cabin. Jeans in the closet (no closet door or curtain), Diet Pepsi and alcohol both in the fridge and freezer, binoculars, chargers, coin jar on the counter. The ceiling fan didn’t work (my husband and I tried every switch we could find) the light above the table was missing a shade (just looked tacky), the owner’s soap bar and Ax body wash in the shower. The shower head looked like it had never been cleaned. There is a large red planter on the deck that has seen WAY better days and had nothing in it. As well as the bright red chair in the living room which should have been replaced years ago. The pictures online staged this cabin pretty, but the reality wasn’t as glamorous.

Perfect get a way

This cozy cabin was perfect for my family. The beach was right across the road. Breezy pointe resort amenities. We will come back, it was relaxing and fun.

Breezy Cabin

Great spot at Breezy Point! Stayed over 4th of July Weekend and the area really came alive. The deck was perfect for watching the fireworks show and listening to the live music coming from the Breezy Point Resort Dockside Lounge. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Very cute clean cabin

We were very pleased with this cabin and location. It is right in the prime of the resort. If this was summer you could sit on the deck and never leave just by people watching and all the activity during the summer months. It is very clean and well maintained. This is a small cabin so it would be recommended for a couple or possibly 2 couples with one couple staying on the futon. There is is a curtain that would close to shut that area off. A family with small children it would work well for. The owner was very easy and nice to work with, always responded to messages and questions timely. The weekend was colder than we had expected it to be and he put 3 heaters in the cabin and had started it prior to us arriving. These were quite enough to keep the cabin warm and comfortable all weekend. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a pleasant and relaxing stay :)

Great place, terrible management.

It is as beautiful as the photos and we had a lovely anniversary weekend. That said, upon arriving to Breezy Point Resort, we were pretty displeased to find out the address listed was not in fact the address of the house, instead the convention center. We arrived at 9pm, confused and frustrated as to where to go- we were not told anything about this when the check in email was sent out, nor were we told the code to get in. I had to email to ask for the code, and I had to call to figure out the actual address. And when I called Dean was surprised that we couldn’t find it, saying that he’s never had anyone ask before.... which I find hard to believe because the address listed literally wasn’t the address of the cabin. He also didn’t know the address of the cabin when I asked. So, overall, I’d say poor organization and management. The place was very clean and one of the most well stocked rentals I’ve been to, in terms of the kitchen. Some weird things though...There is no actual heat, just space heaters, which was odd. It’s a small space so the space heaters did fine, but weird nonetheless. There’s also an assortment of clothes and things in the closet, not an issue, just strange for a rental when I compare to others I’ve been to. There were also no instructions about leaving, including what to do with garbage. Overall the rental is beautiful, but I think the experience of staying in a VRBO rental relies on 50% the place and 50% the management- and it lost all of the management points for us.

Resort vibe

If you are looking for a place in a resort, this is the one. Has a nice deck with a view of the water across a parking lot/driveway. Since the house is on a hill, you are still somewhat private. Bonus is hearing the bands from the resort on the weekend, but can get a little loud. Centrally located near the Paul Bunyan trail and other Crow Wing County activities. However, If you are looking for a private place on a lake, this is not the location to choose.

Great cozy cabin!

Loved staying here! Clean, cute and comfy. Just like the pictures. Perfect location! Across from the beach and close to the main lodge. Could hear and see the entertainment from the deck! Perfect for our family. Thank you for a great place to stay!

Beautiful home in Breezy Point!

This house is exactly what we were hoping for! It is in the best location in the resort! The owner was fabulous to work with. So responsive and genuinely interested in us having a great experience. The house had so many amenities and was beautifully decorated! We’d love to come back again next year.
