The apartment has a very attractive high ceiling, lovely Provençal floor-tiles, and spacious and beautiful living spaces.

Location, Location, Location
This is a larger than typical, centrally located apartment on the first (European) floor (21 steps) with two bedrooms and two baths, which is a configuration hard to find in old town Aix. The apartment is well appointed with a new washer and a separate dryer. Vincent made sure it was well stocked with essentials such as soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee pods, etc. Moreover, in addition to being bracketed by two boulangeries, Paul and Jacobs, down the street from Nicolas wine store and around the corner from Aix's famous fruit, vegetable and flower markets , the apartment is just around the corner from the full service store Monoprix.
Fortunately, the apartment has new, dual glazed windows because we learned on our last one month stay in Aix that the college students who dominate the town can be very rowdy in the wee hours of the morning. We knew from our previous stay on Rue Bedarrides in Aix that Rue Bedarrides is a main pedestrian street in old town Aix and rude (drunk) college students do patrol Rue Bedarrides in the early morning hours yelling, screaming, singing and breaking things.
Vincent provides a binder with all essentials including his restaurant recommendations. We followed his recommendations on three restaurants and agreed with his choices.
Gracious Vincent really loves Aix en Provence, and is eager to share. Apartment is very spacious. Lots of privacy. Bedrooms/bathrooms completely separate. Super quiet, except living and dining rooms. In adjacent bedroom could hear people outside until 3 am. Back bedroom is QUIET!
Would definitely come back- not in August. 😊

spacious apartment in great location
Apartment is in a great location in center of historic Aix. Just around the corner from the spectacular Place Richelme market. Easy walk to other destinations in historic Aix or to Gare Routière for buses for day-trips. Good floor plan with privacy for both bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Second floor overlooking street. Windows have been upgraded and provide good acoustical separation. Plenty of hot water for showers. Well appointed kitchen (though lacking sharp knives). We just spent two weeks there and it's a very comfortable flat for two couples. Vincent was responsive, easy to communicate with and very helpful. We would definitely recommend.

Excellent on every level
We were so happy to have discovered Vincent's apartment. It is ideally located in the historic district so everything is very walkable. It is exactly as you see it on the listing, which quite often is not the case!! We arrived by car and parked at Rotonde. It was an easy walk with luggage and cost 25€ per 24 hours. Vincent was very flexible with our check in as we were running late. When we arrived he gave us a comprehensive outline of the apartment and things to do/ places to eat. He also left a little gift of a bottle of local Rose’ for my husband and I and a large bottle of water for our daughter. The apartment was clean and quiet, and has a fully equipped kitchen for those wanting to self-cater. The washer and dryer were a welcome necessity after being away from home for 3 weeks, as were the English speaking tv channels. I really can't fault the apartment or the hospitality Vincent extended to my family and I. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
