Beautiful Home and Setting
Lovely home and situation, well equipped and lovingly cared for! Beautiful backyard lawn and garden with fruit trees. View of Cape Blomiden. Walking distance to town.
Susan and Richard were great guests and we are so pleased that they enjoyed their visit. They took great care of our home during their visit and we hope to welcome them again some time in the future.
Our family of five had a very pleasant, comfortable stay at Wolfville house. It’s smartly decorated, neutral and with some antiques. It was quiet and had a wonderful view. Wolfville is a charming town. We enjoyed many good meals there, including the Wed. night supper market. The botanical gardens at Acadia Univ were a pleasant surprise. Being from the Niagara wine region we love wineries and the Valley had lots that were impressing us too. We also had a good time at the Two Planks and a Passion Theatre on the mountain.
Beautiful house in beautiful town
We loved staying at Wolfville House. The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. But what I appreciated most were the views of the valley.
Thanks Andrea, we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. We agree, the views are beautiful.
All the best,
Patti and Randy
Loved our time in Wolfville!
The house has all of the comforts of home, with beautiful views.
Beautiful house in perfect location
This is the second summer I’ve rented the house because no other house will do! It is beautifully-appointed with a wonderful, and very private, back yard ( your own apple orchard!). It is fully air-conditioned, which for the hottest July on record, was a godsend. The kitchen is equipped with every appliance and tool imaginable so meal prep is a breeze. The sunsets over Cape Blomidon, seen from every room, are awesome, and the university and town are within walking distance. The owners, Randy and Patti, are the best, and the property manager, Carol, is immediately accessible for any questions, either about the house, or the local area. There is much to see and do, from the beaches of the Minas Basin, to the picturesque shores of the Atlantic. And lunch at Pete Luckett’s winery is a must, with its stunning views and inventive menu. I’ll be back next summer and can’t wait!
At the east end of the warm and fertile Annapolis Valley, Wolfville is home to Acadia University and is a cultural centre for the surrounding area, with the Atlantic Theatre Festival, Deep Roots Music Festival, restaurants, galleries, shops and the Harriet Irving Botanical Garden. See the world's highest tides. Visit Grand Pré National Historic Site which commemorates the Acadian people who were the first settlers in the area. Fabulous hiking at Cape Blomidon, which you can see from our house, and Cape Split. Birdwatching, golf, kayaking, lobster, skiing, are popular pastimes.
Other Activities: Skateboarding, kayaking, canoeing, birdwatching
