Gran casa en el río Patuxent con nueva cocina, pintura, terraza al aire libre y baños. Acceso a kayaks y paddleboards si es necesario. House también tiene su propia playa (ver fotos) y tiene una tienda de conveniencia para todos los artículos varios a solo 2 millas de distancia. We have stayed at many places. This was the most peaceful place. Its perfect if you just need a place to enjoy some family and beach time. Everything you would want or need is here. Comfy beds, private beach, wildlife galore, peace and quiet, lots ofbgreat places to eat, incredible sunrise and sunsets, and star gazing at night is amazing because your away from all the city lights!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time at this riverfront home. It is tranquility at its finest. The home is perfectly appointed with room for all. The 2 decks allow for peaceful viewing of the river and breathtaking sun rises and sun sets. You couldn’t ask for more. A truly relaxing and enjoyable time was had by all.

Just spectacular! Beautiful home; immaculately clean and spacious. The location is lovely with breathtaking views of the water, amazing grounds with gorgeous plant life, and manicured lawns. Across the street is a magnificent farm that goes on and on. Easy check in, dog friendly and has most things you need like towels and chairs. We absolutely loved it and the bonus was that the neighbours were friendly and fun! Highly recommend! Best VRBO we have ever rented by far!

Private beach and comfortable home! 5 stars!

This was our second year staying at this incredible home, and it was just as perfect as we remembered. The house is beautiful, yet still feels cozy and comfortable. It truly offers the best of both worlds. It had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to relaxing outdoor spaces. The private beach is such a rare find and made our stay feel peaceful and secluded, and the views are absolutely stunning. We made so many wonderful memories here and can’t wait to come back again.

Per’s house is lovely! It had everything we needed for a long summer weekend (pots, pans, beach towels, beach toys, beach bags, etc.) The decor was charming and offered the perfect backdrop to our stay. We also loved the proximity to lots of things - Calvert Marine Museum, Jefferson Patterson Park, Flag Ponds, Calvert Cliffs.

This is a great house for a family gathering.There is enough space with 2 sitting areas, and a very nice deck for people to spread out.The water views are spectacular.The host was very responsive to any issues that arose.I would use this house again if I'm in the area.

Weekend Gem

We enjoyed the comfy atmosphere and location to the water. There is nothing better than a fireplace fire, family, board games and great good to relax. Communication was easy with the owner and he was able to resolve a few issues we had. Such a nice weekend away.

Worth the drive! And what a nice drive!

We attended an event 40 mins away from the property. We did not mind driving back every night because we had the perfect place to recharge for the next day. This would be a good place for up to four couples to stay and be very comfortable. Thanks to the owners for sharing the experience! Steve

Weekend getaway

Despite the wet weather, we had a great time celebrating our anniversary. The indoor fireplace was so cozy and we were able to have a great “beach” day with some fishing! The place was a good proximity to downtown Solomon’s Island and plenty of markets & restaurants!

Coco's vacation

The property is pet-friendly (Coco) that's what caught my eyes. Also, the location of the house, is on a riverfront. I loved the layout of the house. Beautiful. To wakeup in the morning, having coffee on the porch, to appreciate the beauty of the scenic views and watching the birds.

Swim, fish, explore and relax

Our vacation was more for our kids 10 and 12. They were able to practice fishing from the quiet beach and enjoy warm river water. It is a very quiet place and it was great! The house was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. A lot of kitchenware to accommodate entire village. We explored nearby places like Calvert Marine Museum and Annmarie Garden. After busy days we sat on the beach, deck or in the living room. Beds were comfortable and cozy for a good night sleep.

Ideal Mom's Weekend location

This place was perfect for our weekend of reading, relaxing, eating, drinking wine. The view of the river was fantastic as we had coffee on the deck. We loved the kayaks and paddle board. The house was immaculately clean, bed linens and washing linens were wonderful, and the kitchen was well stoked with cooking items. Overall I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a calm, beautiful, clean get away.

Summer getaway

This property is wonderful. My family and I enjoyed the everything inside and out. Made sandcastles and rowed in the kayak. We were able to make short trips to Solomons for the Calvert Marine Museum on a rainy day and ice cream on a sunny one. Great stay.

Beautiful view and great location. We picked up a box fan to help a bit with air circulation in the main house (we went in the middle of a heat wave), but after that it was great.

Ladies’ weekend!!

This house was perfect for three ladies to decompress! We loved the layout of the home, with plenty of space to sit, chat and enjoy the amazing views. We started with an excellent lunch at Jimmy’s (amazing crabcake, haddock and chicken meals) and then got some local steamed crabs that were some of the best I’ve ever had (Patuxent Seafood). The back deck and the deck off the master were great spots to listen to the sound of the water and enjoy the Osprey. We loved and appreciated every moment- thank you!!
