About this property

A luxury property in Ferragudo with private swimming pool for up to 6 people

Beautiful and spacious house very close to Praia Grande beach, with lovely bedrooms, its own private swimming pool, immaculate garden, pretty roof terrace and sea views. During June, July and August we take Saturday to Saturday bookings only. The house is near the centre of Ferragudo village - perfect for dining out at the many excellent bars and restaurants in the area. Ferragudo is a pretty unspoilt fishing village, where locals and visitors gather in the village square for morning coffee before wandering along the quayside and down cobbled alleyways to buy daily supplies from local shops or the little fish market. The lovely beaches are just 5 mins away from the square. During the summer a water taxi runs from the quayside to the lively resort of Praia da Rocha, and on Saturday evenings you will often find traditional live music and dancing in the square in the middle of some great fish restaurants.
In the winter months we take long term bookings from 1 - 3 months in length. please contact us for details.

Beautiful holiday home

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation and enjoyed our vacation. The house offers plenty of space with three bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as several beautiful terraces. The furnishings are tasteful and in good condition. The communication with Dagny was very pleasant and she always responded very quickly to questions or problems. We were able to meet her and her husband personally on site and it was a great pleasure - they are wonderful hosts.

Great place - wonderful location & LOTS of space for a house in a small town

We had a great stay in the villa. It’s located in a medium sized fishing town with lots of lovely restaurants and pastelerias all well within a ten min walk. It has to be said this is going downhill towards the town centre and uphill coming back. We found this charming and easy but may be tricky if you had mobility problems. The place is very big for a town house - spacious living areas and nice large, well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed the different outside spaces and particularly loved the seats in the pool where two of our party whiled away many hours with a book, kept cool in the water. Dagny & David were great - being really flexible and very responsive. Highly recommend.

Amazing Holidays 🌟

We had some wonderful holidays in Ferragudo! We could walk to the beach. The town was quiet. The house was great! We enjoyed it very much. Dagny and David were lovely!

We are an English family with 4 sons who lived in Portugal for many years. David is a language teacher and Dagny is an interior designer. The boys love swimming at Prai Grande, playing tennis and fishing and we all love eating at the restaurants in the square!

Why they chose this property

Our two 2 youngest grew up in Ferragudo. We love the house and the area and chose it because it honestly is one of the nicest villages in the Algarve, known and loved by locals and visitors alike. You can walk down to the square or the beach from the house through the quint cobbled streets, there is no need for a car so its great for kids and for a fun night out if you don´t want to drive.

What makes this property unique

The house is elegant and spacious - the living room is almost double in size and the TV room is connected to it so you don´t feel cut off if you´re watching TV or wanting to read in a quiet area. The pool area is very private which is great for sun bathing and best of all the kitchen is cool in summer and warm in winter which is heaven for the chef...
