Bienvenue à Ajoupa Villas

Il s'agit d'une villa de vacances de deux chambres située dans le village de Fitts sur la spectaculaire côte ouest de la Barbade, à St James. Ajoupa 13 a une cuisine ouverte, un salon et une salle à manger qui mène à un patio couvert au niveau inférieur. Au niveau supérieur de cette maison de ville se trouvent deux chambres climatisées et une salle de bain. L'une des chambres possède un balcon avec vue sur la mer.

Veuillez noter qu'à compter du 1er octobre 2018, le gouvernement de la Barbade a imposé un prélèvement obligatoire pour tous les hébergements touristiques qui sera appliqué à TOUTES les réservations existantes et nouvelles. Le prélèvement sur l'économie partagée représente 10% du tarif de l'hébergement.

Nous sommes situés à seulement 250 mètres de la plage. La villa est équipée de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de votre séjour ici.

Ajoupa 13 est à 30 minutes de l'aéroport international Grantley Adams et à 10 minutes de Bridgetown au centre de la Barbade, vous n'êtes pas loin de toutes commodités.

Pour faire du shopping, Limegrove, le premier centre de style de vie à usage mixte de la Barbade, est situé au cœur de Holetown, à 5 minutes en bus, et abrite de nombreuses grandes marques de détail au monde. This place was everything and more it said in the listing..very quiet and peaceful environment..close to everything u need to make ur holiday a breeze..there was even a cell phone to use. Locals are friendly in the area as well..im surely coming back to this place in the future. :)

Home Away from home

The place was just great, very Clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us as it is very close to jordans supermarket and the Bus Stop and just opposite the lovely beach of fitts Village. Marcia the local house manager was very friendly and just a phone call away. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would highly recommend the place!

Beautiful

We have had a fabulous stay. So many lovely beaches. Fitts area is very central to all the lovely beaches but not much to do without driving but nowhere is far. If your looking for a relaxing holiday then it’s great if you want more lively then Lawerence Gap would suit you better. The Ajoupa Villa is great and lovely view from the bedroom balcony. We have came when it’s quite raining so had a lot of mozzies. The cockerels are very vocal in the early hours of the morning other than that it’s lovely and quiet. Had a bit of trouble finding the road the Villa is on but Marcia was a god send and directed us in. Overall great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

Very Nice apartment, but environment with chicken is not fun!

Appartment is excellent, every thing is fine, cleaning was perfect, photo conform to what you get. There is a lot of chicken going freely on the Anupa property and around. I learned that a woman who live sometime at Ajupa 13 feed them daily .... that is why there is so mamy chicken all around. At 4 am the song of chinken is not fun! We were expecting to go to the beach 5 min away from Ajupa, unfortunately this year it is full of rock , we needed to take the bus to go Holetown, there is a nice beach near St James Church, the oldest church on the island. Bess driver are almost creasy, my wife was afraid sometimes.

Our second stay at Ajoupa 13

This was our second year to stay at Ajoupa 13. Last year we stayed for two weeks in January and this year we stayed for the entire month of January. Obviously we enjoy staying here as the location is convenient to the best restaurants and beaches on Barbados. The condo is comfortable, the air conditioning is only needed at night in the bedroom, a maid comes weekly to clean and change the towels and bedding and the local manager came right out if we had a problem. There is a brand new, huge Massey grocery store in Holetown. This year we purchased SIM cards for our iPhones through Digitel so we had GPS for our travels. A definite need if you don’t want to get lost. Overall the Villa is an economical location for visiting Barbados. It would be nice if the heavy, rusty, uncomfortable pool lounge chairs were replaced. Also supplying beach towels would ease space in luggage. Finally we were very disappointed that the owner did not query a returning occupant if they would like to stay next year before they let it out to someone else.

I apologize for the problems you had with the sun loungers and will look into the matter straight away. On the matter of querying with our guests on whether you want to return. I do not make a habit of checking with guests whether they will be returning as this can be seen as harassment. Barbados is loved by all who visit as you know and bookings can sometimes be made over a year in advance for villas of good value like Ajoupa. We operate a first come first serve basis and would keep you in mind if you were to inform us of your dates in advance. The peak season for Barbados is December to April, so you really need to book far in advance. Ajoupa's aim is to make your sure you have a great holiday, and take some good memories of Barbados back with you. Comfortable apartment close to the sea

Nice apartment, everything as described on the website. We especially enjoyed the local atmosphere and the typical Bajan view of the sea from the little balcony. Saw monkeys and yellow birds in the mornings, wonderful sunsets in the evenings.

Lovely Villa, fantastic location

The property was well kept and very clean. It was in a great location and had everything you needed. There was also a mobile phone for you to use as well as a house phone. The pool was very nice, beach was at the bottom of the road, alongside a supermarket that had everything and was reasonably priced. The people in Barbados were very friendly. We used the buses as our means of transport. So cheap, bus top at the bottom of the road and they really looked after you. The people are so polite and really go out of their way to look after the tourist. We all felt very safe and can't wait to return. Overall I can truly say we had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this villa.

Nice accomodation ,stay overshadowed by unpleasant neighbours.

Ajoupa 13 is a nice comfortable villa with enough space for a family.It was nice to have the option for our son to watch tv.The only downside was that 3 sun loungers were broken and only 1 could be used.However , we only used the pool a few short times due to the unpleasant neighbours in number 7&8.They complained about our son playing with a ball even though no-one else was in the pool or terrace area.The pool rules obviously do not apply to them as the lady from number 7 was drinking out of a glass whilst in the pool against HER pool rules, as she pointed it was their pool.A lot of garden maintenance was going on and a lot more noise was coming from this than from us.The pool was not cleaned during our stay despite all the other maintenance going on.No-one seemed to mind the dogs and cats leaving their mess on the terrace next to the pool, which we cleaned up ourselves, not sure who the animals belonged to but they were not controlled.The unpleasant neighbours shouting and balling at us was not an experience we expected but we soon realised how petty , narrow minded and bitter they were which made the beach a far better option.Unfortunately, with neighbours like these Ajoupa is not for families and no-one with children should consider staying and because of this and this alone we will not consider returning.

Really nice stay in a beautiful house

It was a very nice stay at your house. This Villa was perfect for us (2 adults + 1 child). The house was completely clean and smelled freshly. We enjoyed every evening the sunset on the balcony with a fresh "banks#. From there it was a good view. We had everything what you need to cook. The shared pool is fantastic and clean. Ideal after a day at the beach for chill out. And the neighbours are so friendly and ready to talk with us. The whole stay was perfect.😁👌

A great place to stay in paradise

What we liked best about Ajoupa Villas was the safe environment and friendly neighbors. Last year we stayed in an isolated beach cottage. This year we were among other tourists who looked out for each other. We appreciated the clean pool plus being not far from the beach. We were also appreciative of the maid service which we did not expect. The manager Monica also replaced the inoperative microwave. The villa is located near all the west coast restaurants and beaches. One item we do recommend from our experience with other pool/beach homeaway properties is that beach towels be provided since they take up a lot of room in your luggage. We highly recommend Ajoupa 13 and would be happy to return another year.

Another lovely Barbados Holiday !

The apartment complex is small, quiet and quite lovely. The location is fine to walk to a large grocery store and the lovely Italian restaurant named IL Tempio. The lounging chairs that are supplied are not comfortable and I did not like the idea of having to haul my chair to the pool, the other apartment complexes which we have stayed at supplied pool chairs. The air condition in the apartment is very good. The cable tv is also excellent. The range has a lot of rust on it, which I did not like. The pool on this complex is lovely. The parking is easy. The locals are friendly.

Villa Adequate for 4 people. Fairly child friendly. Kitchen has the necessary utensils for basic cooking but nothing more than that. No roasting pan that I could find if you wanted to used the oven. Poor layout of kitchen. Everything was topsy turvy. No dishwasher either. Who wants to go on holiday to wash up ? Not me. Back door when opened is overlooking a medium sized hedge. Living/dining area is adequate. Everything just feels a little unloved. The finer details are missing which is a shame.such as the information folder. It was a bit sticky,tatty and didn't really have much information for its size. Also I didn't feel the cleanliness of the property in general was upto my standard. Everywhere I sat or looked there were odd hairs...ewww. It seems the broom had a collection of them too so whenever you used the broom they would inadvertently come out. Not nice. Towels are limited too. So for a family of 4 we were having to wash quite regularly which is not ideal for a relaxing holiday. Bathroom upstairs has no extractor fan and is always hot like a sauna. Bedrooms are okay size nothing amazing. Beds are uncomfortable ad sheets didn't really feel clean. Main bedroom does have a partial sea view in the distance but that's only after looking directly out on someone's local scrap yard of cars. Such a shame ,so we didn't e ver sit on the balcony. Good amount of cable TV channels. Pool is a an okay size just for a cool down but not for a proper swim. Pool area is very exposed to the sun. You will burn in minutes and be blinded in seconds so beware. The neighbour across the way is really sweet. Very helpful too. Didn't see many others. The entrance also to the complex is overlooked by a local house which can be intimidating. They stare and don't say hello,play music loud and just generally hang out all hours of the day and night. This really is did not like and put me off from going out. Such a shame as with a few tweaks ,a good clean and a bit of money spent it could be much better. But as I found it ,it just doesn't justify coming here instead of the bigger touristy hotels. The island is not that big that you can't get around on bus or car. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it either

Great stay!

The first thing we noticed was that the property was exceptionally clean on arrival and more than ample room for 2 adults and 2 children. Good beach 5 minutes walk away but we hired a car to see the island and there is ample parking available . Buses run along the main road which is also a 5 minute walk. Property felt safe and secure as did the neighbourhood as a whole. Used the swimming pool a few times and it was always clean, was actually cleaned while we were there. Monica, the property manager was always polite and courteous and we always felt we could contact her if we needed to. Wifi was good, there's a good choice of tv channels for adults and children and there is a mobile telephone in the property. We did not use the aircon at all as there was often a cool breeze that swept through the property and if it did get too hot the fans were sufficient for us. Overall a great place to stay in a good location and would definitely recommend staying there.

A jewel of a villa - perfectly located & present

My arrival date was actually the 19 August. Stayed here for a unforgettable 2 weeks first holiday in Barbados. This villa was the perfect home away from home and we settled in with ease. The rooms are of a good size and have adequate space for clothes and storage of cases. The beds were comfortable and the view of the sea from the master bedroom offers the most picturesque scenes in the morning and at night. It is perfectly located - near to a beach, a supermarket and local bus service. Buses run 5 mins from the house enabling you to tour the island freely for 2 dollars per person. Ajoupa 13 provides you with all the necessary amenities and is well presented and maintained. The pool in the outside area was perfect for lounging on lazy days and the mobile phone which was provided was very useful and a great perk. We explored Barbados to the fullest and we're happy to have chosen this villa as our base. The manager and cleaner were both friendly and on hand should we require anything. I have already booked Ajoupa for my return visit to Barbados next year.

Lovely stay in great accomodation

We stayed in the villa for a week and had a great time. The villa exactly how it looks in the photos and has all the items for a great Bajan holiday. It was a 4 min walk to the beautiful Fitts beach that is really quiet. The supermarket is 5 mins and there are a number of 'spa's close by (Waves offer very reasonably priced massages). There is an Italian restaurant near that does great happy hours but other than that you will have to get a car or use local transport to eat out.

Perfect home from home

Myself, husband and 2 daughters have just returned from a 9 day holiday at Ajoupa 13. We had a marvellous time in Barbados and villa provided to be a perfect base in which to explore the island and have as much fun as we did!! The villa is perfect home from home accommodation. Arrangements to gain access to the villa were simple. The rooms were clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. Jordans supermarket is at the bottom of the road where we shopped to stock the fridge with drinks and provisions. We found the villa to be secure, modern, clean and comfortable; perfect for a family. We used the buses for the 1st 2 days of the holiday and the bus stop was also at the bottom of the road. The beach is a few minutes walk away and we even had a sea view from the master bedroom!! The resident neighbours were so nice, especially Smilie who lived in the villa right by the pool. He treated us to some coconuts and invited my husband to help him chop them down from his coconut tree and then cut them open for us to drink the milk. The pool is perfect for lazing about before or after a day out exploring the island. We hired a car after a couple of days only because we planned to visit the inner parts of the island, however it is possible to get around to all the major highlights without the use of a car.

Great holiday, already planning the next one!!

Just returned from a wonderful 11 nights in Barbados with 2 friends. We have been visiting the island for many years and have stayed in different self catering accommodations. This was my first time at No.13 Ajoupa villas. Location was great. Situated between Bridgetown and Holetown. Buses available to the rest of the island so it is not necessary to hire a car. The bus stop is located at the end of the road, a good size supermarket is within 5 to 7 mins stroll. 2 local beaches within 5 minutes walk. The bus journey to Holetown takes about 8 mins and run frequently. Holetown has everything you could possibly need for your holiday: large beach with bar/restaurant, Many eateries, bars, shops, luxurious cinema, a massive supermarket, 24 hours medical centre.. Accommodation was very clean and felt very much home from home. Ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout (some rentals offer air con in bedrooms only). Kitchen was well equipped with full size cooker, microwave, plenty of utensils and crockery. Washer and dryer. The phone came in very useful with free local calls. Plenty of wardrobe space in the bedrooms and space to put away your suitcases. I feel this accommodation would suit friends, families and couples. Good size well kept communal pool, Parking space right outside villa (if required). Friendly neighbours both within the complex and on the residential street outside. Safe neighbourhood. I highly recommend staying at this villa and am already planning my return later in the year. Selena....London, UK

Wonderful stay

We had an awesome stay at Ajoupa 13. The property was exactly as shown, very comfortable, very well equipped and clean. Nice grounds and pool area as well. The villa is in a great location about 3 minutes walk from the beach and well stocked Supermarket. Nice touches like the local mobile phone -very handy- just topped it up when we left. We visited Harrison cave, St Nichola Abbey plantation, Animal flower cave, orchid world, Crane beach, Bridgetown city, we went to the cinema in Limegrove mall in Holetown, Oistins night on Friday. We Swam with turtles, snorkeling in Fitt village beach and relaxing at all.... Owner and manager provide us an excellent service. We'd certainly love to come back. We recommend it to family.

Fabulous!!!

An absolute gem of a property!! Exactly as described. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly want to enjoy your holiday, fully equipped kitchen, washer dryer, microwave, toaster and air conditioning throughout, very comfortable beds, Wi-Fi and cable TV. Beach at the end of the road and access to a lovely pool in the gardens, a perfect place to relax. Car not necessary as the buses pass at the end of the road for a short journey into Bridgetown or Holetown. Local supermarket only 5 mins walk away. Excellent property management and booking process.. I had a very enjoyable stay at the property and will be booking to return very soon. I have found my home from home in Barbados!!
