Despite the easy access, our gated community feels like a true escape—yet still under 2 hours from Seattle area ferries.

The lake property was beautiful. We stayed here to visit the national park. The house was stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes for the family . We didn’t have a chance to use the kayaks, but maybe next time .

This home is truly fantastic all around. The location on the lake is simply stunning, the views cannot be beat. The home was fully stocked with everything our group of four could ever need, including kitchen supplies, linens, movies and even lifejackets for use with the kayaks. The house itself is super cute and cozy with lots of fun details and very helpful labeling of lights, cabinets etc. Also communication with the host was seamless. We will definitely stay here again.

Great cabin right on the water. We enjoyed lake time on the dock and with the provided kayaks. Easy drive into Port Angeles and far enough into the park to be closer to hikes. This was a family vacation (14 total) and we were able to book two places near each other. My family of four and my dad & his wife stayed here and it was excellent for what we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The deck and patio was great for evenings watching the kids swim or kayak in the lake. Our family boasts four generations of Lake Sutherland living and we absolutely love this peaceful slice of heaven. Our boys represent the 4th generation and, though young, some of their most memorable life events have taken place at The Cabin. We have a family cabin across the lake that is special to us but we have always waited for an opportunity to purchase in Maple Grove for its excellent access and sun exposure. We jumped at this opportunity in 2019 and are excited to create even more memories while sharing our home with you all.

Why they chose this property

Tons of sun, great waterfront access, a boat launch, gated community and one of the best houses on the lake. Affectionately called our "cabin," you will find our home to be spacious, well appointed and stocked with every amenity you'll need while vacationing. Isn't it nice to not have to worry about what you're forgetting from home? Fully stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, watercraft, BBQ and all the utensils necessary to create a home environment while on vacation. It's truly the best of both worlds when it comes to vacationing.

What makes this property unique

The largest waterfront lot in Maple Grove made possible by being on "Lot 1" which includes a seasonal creek and a natural spit built up over time by creek run-off. Take advantage of the half-moon beachfront, mature landscaping, boat-in/out dock access and the best views Lake Sutherland has to offer. Its southerly exposure guarantees sun all day long with no obstruction from trees, mountains or structures while affording you a private location on the lake.
