Notre maison offre une vue magnifique sur l'océan et une incroyable plage de sable de 7 miles. Faisant partie de la communauté Kinney Shores à Saco (à 3 km au sud d'Old Orchard Beach), ce quartier calme se compose principalement de familles en vacances d'été. Il y a deux chambres face à l'océan, 1 chambre avec vue sur l'océan et 2 chambres à l'arrière de la maison. Il y a une cuisine récemment rénovée et un porche intérieur face à l'océan qui est idéal pour regarder le lever du soleil.

Sorry for the issue with ants. We are right on the beach and from time to time get ants, although not what we would call infestation. The cleaner did not see ants when she was preparing the house for you, which you told me was clean. Had you called me during your stay, i would have had an exterminator come over. Also, sometimes if the counters and tables are not cleaned after food or juices are on them, we will see ants.

House right on the Beach

Dream vacation with my family in Maine. Just steps away from the beach, and a short drive to OOB pier. Owner was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

Great family beach house!

Cozy home, right on the beach, outdoor shower, quiet streets, lazy and enjoyable. We brought bikes and rode the five minutes into the village every day. Slept wonderfully listen to the surf, had great meals on the back deck and in the beachside porch. Lovely vacation!

Great Saco Beach Cottage

Great clean rustic cottage with excellent private beach access steps away. Parking for up to 6 or 7 cars. Huge screened porch that provides great space for your group for meals or to spread out if you do have a rainy day. Front deck provides shaded morning seating for coffee. Grill and laundry all work great. Bedrooms are all more spacious than they appear in the photos. Owner responds to both email and texts very quickly. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

A great beach front home

What I loved about this house was that is reminded me of the lake front camps I grew up with. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, with limited street parking. There is a public access right next to the house, but people who used this were renters just like us. There were 4 different 3 generational groups that all sat together on the beach with the children playing with other children every day. What a great time for the parents. It has everything you need for an incredible vacation. Right next to the beach, wonderful porch to enjoy the cool winds, and no loud neighbors to worry about. Matt is an awesome homeowner that wants your vacation to be perfect. Greatest family vacation that we have had in a long time.

We had a terrific vacation.

Our family loved staying at this cottage. The cottage made us all feel at home. The owner was very responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was good. The cottage is on the beach and was extremely convenient. Can’t say enough good things.

Great location

Great location we loved how close the beach is, typical cottage feel to the house. The previous guests left the house in very poor shape. The cleaners did what they could in the time they had. We spent the first day cleaning and organizing after the cleaners left. We would rent again but would hope the house would be cleaner and in better shape when we arrived.

Great location but house in disrepair

5 stars for location - which is really everything. But - the house wasn’t clean (floors were sandy when we got there). The windows on the oceanfront porch mostly had broken latches and we needed to squeeze together the metal hinges that remained. One window didn’t open. (No AC so know that as well). It had lots of charm but you can tell the owner doesn’t put ANY money into the property. The photos were misleading in that he shows two living areas - but he really just changed the position of the couch and arm chair and took off the couch seat covers to look like two areas. That was deceptive and unnecessary. Our family had a great time because we just chalked it up to part of our beach experience. It’s a shame the owner doesn’t keep up his property as it has an incredible location.

Perfect vacation house!!

This home is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your vacation!! Going to bed listening to the waves crashing and waking up and just walking onto the beach was heaven!! It has plenty of space to hang out with everyone and also find a place to be by yourself.. the best of both worlds!!

Quaint, cozy cottage right on the beach! We loved listening to the ocean waves at night and watching the sunsets and sunrises right from the backyard! A must visit to this special gem!

Classic Beach House ON THE beach

It’s impossible to get any closer to the beach. You will fall asleep with the sound of the ocean and sitting on the front porch you will be able to watch the waves and the dune grass. It’s absolutely perfect. The house is a classic Maine beach house with updated bathrooms and kitchens. Host is very friendly and did a great job communicating with us.

A lovely cottage for a trip to Maine!

We travelled with a set of grandparents, 5 adults, and two little kids. The rooms were ample enough for everyone. It was such a pleasure to step outside in the mornings for a walk on the beach alone or with a family member. The location is just superb! Some of our group even got up early to catch the sunrise some mornings. The kitchen was a great size and was well equipped! The kids enjoyed watching tv in the cozy living room. Overall, a great house. Thank you!
