Joe's Beach Hideaway

Beach is at the end of the dead end road! Very Cute romantic cape cottage!

Inside: Queen bed, dresser, couch, new kitchen and bath
Outside: table and chairs, outdoor shower, beach chairs, umbrella and grill
House has wifi, cable and parking for one car!

Small dogs welcomed! Pet Fee: $100
This was an old garage from the 60s that became a man cave, and now its a romantic, fun beach spot! My brother and I created the space a few years ago.

Beach access short walk at end of private road, bars restaurants short walk away

I would love help plan your cape trip. I know where all the deals and hot spots are!

The house was more than I expected. I actually had rented a smaller studio but Joe was nice enough to put me in a bigger house. It was lovely. I brought Teagan my doodle and with the beach being down the street a few houses was perfect.

Owners didn’t communicate until it was too late.

I did not stay in the property because the owners didn’t confirm the availability until the day of check in. Following Vrbo’s recommendations, I made other arrangements at a different location (Cape May).

Great getaway spot

My girlfriend and I chose this location for a weekend trip and the place was perfect for our needs. Plenty of things within walking distance or a very short drive. Joe was great with recommending local spots and the place was very clean and in great shape. Would recommend this spot to any couple needing a place to stay while enjoying the Cape!

Fun Weekend Trip!

Perfect little spot in a perfect little area

I worked a wedding close by and it was the perfect spot to come back too. Everything you need is there. I could have my coffee and journal outside in the morning. It was very clean and decorated well. Near Harwich and cute coffee shop in walking distance. Definitely would stay again.

Overall experience was good except for a few items

1) I did not get the check in instructions until I messaged the property manager.. it was 1 hour before our arrival to the property 2) I felt the photos and property are not the same.. photos have the combination of more than one property.. say the property we stayed did not have a twin bed as seen in the photos. Also our property did not have bathroom outside the property as seen in the photo.. it would be great if the photos are appropriate..

Cozy and quiet

Joe has made check in very easy and is very friendly and easily available. Short walk to the beach, and not a lot of traffic which is a bonus when walking our dog. She's scared when there's too many cars going by. Thanks Joe!

Joe was a great host but there was an issue with the heat which was unfortunate. Wi-Fi was spotty at times and I couldn’t get the TV to work. Other than that, this is a great little space. Place was very clean which was great!

Delightful get away

This property changed my mind about the Cape. I have never been a huge Cape fan but when we had to be there we could have not chosen a better place. It is delightfully appointed and in a great location for walks to the beach.

So relaxing and cozy

We had a great three day stay at the Hide Away. It was just cozy enough without being too small, and being a mere 1 1/2 blocks from the oceanfront was magical. The dog loved running on the beach, and we were made to feel like regulars at the Sailing Cow pub. We will definitely be back.

I had a great experience staying at this property. It’s a small space, but was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It’s a quick walk to beach and lots of good places to eat nearby. (Try the Oyster Company, had a great meal there.).

we where staying in the Cape for our 35th anniversary and wanted to stay one more night. Joe was so great! if i new about this cute very comfortable and very tastefully doctorate cottage, we would have booked it longer. beautiful beach! great location.
