The house itself is nice and if it had been in better condition, it would’ve been very enjoyable. Based on the numerous signs with instructions and rules, it appears that the owners take pride in their home and believe it to be pristine. But our stay was not so great because the king bed we slept in (not the master bedroom), was basically broken. One whole side of the bed sunk so far down that it was impossible for my husband and I to sleep in it. He ended up moving to the couch, while I slept on the “good side”. But it wasn’t much better for me. The sheets were so old, worn and pilled that they were really uncomfortable. It was really a bummer. There is also no air conditioning.. which is ok, but guests should know that the house gets extremely warm. The patio is lovely, but the cushions on the chairs are flat and worn and the chairs are uncomfortable and rickety. They, along with the broken king bed, all need to be replaced. The bathrooms were well stocked, which was appreciated. The kitchen provided paper towels but no napkins. I don’t understand the logic of buying the cheapest possible paper towels. I assume it’s to cut costs, but you end up using three times as many since they fall apart in your hands. The last thing worth mentioning is that the directions of the home should be rewritten as they are very confusing. We were sharing the house with friends and both parties got completely lost trying to find the house. I’m just glad we gave the master bedroom to our friends since I’m the one who booked the house. I would’ve been horrified if they had ended up with the broken bed. If the furniture in the 2nd bedroom and patio were replaced, I would recommend this house.
