Beach front condo with a 180° view of the beach

Really enjoyed our stay. Beach view from the balcony was fantastic and, at the time of year we were there, it seemed like we had our own private beach. Loved having coffee in the morning on the balcony and drinks at night! Condo complex is very convenient but is not a fancy place overall. If you want more of that, try resort areas in Padre Island. Pictures of the apartment itself are accurate and the apartment is refreshingly devoid of the normal seashore tchotchkes. Washing machine and dryer costs $2 each (front office has quarters or there was an app for a phone to use them - we got quarters) and are right outside of the condo which was quite convenient. Only suggestions for additions to the condo would be towel hooks for drying bath towels (maybe in the long hall? ) and a lighter or matches for the communal barbecue. (We personally would prefer a regular coffee machine too but got used to the one cup at a time keurig) Other than the beach itself, we did not spend time in the North Beach area (which may get really crowded in high season - Memorial Day through Labor Day). Good places to eat/drink downtown (not too expensive to take an Uber if you are drinking) and we went lots of places by car (which we rented at the tiny airport, very easy to drive throughout Corpus but a car really is needed to get anywhere). Loved going surf fishing on Mustang Island. We had our own fishing (surf casting) rod so don't know about renting tackle but call Roy's Bait and Tackle for advice - the place is huge and they are very friendly!
