Bungalow Oaks - Skridt væk fra historiske steder på Main Street

Bygget i 2018 som et gæstehus ved siden af vores hovedbolig en blok fra Main Street. Kort gåtur til historisk restaurant, populært mikrobryggeri i creek side og praktisk til butikker og lokale spisesteder. Bungalow har et tilknyttet carport-område, og hovedrummet har en king size seng ved siden af et massivt antikt armoire. Et separat badeværelse med walk-in bruser og antik forfængelighed har alt privatlivets fred i hjemmet. Området kaffebar har et lille køleskab, en kaffemaskine af pod-type og en mikrobølgeovn. Til afslapning morgen og aften er der to overdimensionerede rockere på verandaen til fugletitting og hjortvisning langs den tørre creek nedenfor.

We enjoyed our stay at the bungalow very much. Check-in instruction was simple and straightforward. We arrived late at night and they have left the porch lights on for us. The room is clean, fully stocked with towels and other necessities. Oh, the muffins were delicious. Thanks to the host! We loved the location. It’s very convenient for walking to the Main Street where you can find many restaurants and shops. The only improvement that I would suggest is a bigger TV. The TV is quite small. We have a hard time to watch movies from the bed. But the sound is okay.

Great location to just leave your car and walk around Salado! Property was exactly as advertised. The shower was more than tall enough for my 6’7” husband - always a bonus. We particularly enjoyed the back porch. Thank you, Suggs!

Beautiful, quiet, cozy bungalow just steps away from all the Main Street action. There is a back porch/ balcony facing a little forest. We loved all the special touches, including the best blueberry muffins! We definitely will be back! Thanks so much!

This little bungalow was amazing! My daughter and I enjoyed it so much! We got to watch the deer in the back on the creek in the mornings with a cup of coffee. It was just beautiful!

Relaxing stay

The location of this bungalow was perfect! The atmosphere was so relaxing and I wanted to stay longer. The hosts are next door but not intruding at all. They thought of everything to make our stay the best! Morning coffee on the porch was amazing!

We loved our stay! The bungalow is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Very well-designed and well-stocked with comfortable bedding, soft oversized towels, snacks and water. Ideally located close to restaurants and shops, yet still very quiet and peaceful.

Heaven for 2

Stayed in this precious bungalow while in town for a wedding. Pictures do not do it just how relaxing and quaint and well thought out every detail is. The rocking chairs on the back porch with the complimentary muffins and coffee, while watching deer and cardinals was not something I ever expected, and it was amazing!!

Great place, wonderful hosts

Pictures can't really capture how comfortable and cozy this place is. We really enjoyed the solitude and just hanging out on the porch watching the birds, deer, et al. These hosts have thought of EVERYTHING and were very kind and responsive. The ice maker is a huge bonus!Highly recommended!

Bungalow retreat.

The bungalow is located in a serene tree-laden area very near downtown Salado. Although small, it’s a perfectly sized oasis of privacy and coziness for a couple. The owners put a lot of effort into the lovely aesthetics and small, meaningful touches that truly make the bungalow feel big. We found the back porch to be a quiet haven to enjoy nature and tranquility. The owners provided an ice maker, Keirig, microwave, frig, and tv. We lacked for nothing and appreciated the nice touch of leaving us yummy blueberry muffins.

"Best Kept Secret" Getaway

This little Bungalow is absolutely everything it claims. My wife and I use to manage our own 5 star VRBO property for 12 years until we sold it, but wow these folks have it dialed in. The back deck view of the creek bed and wildlife makes this place simply amazing..

Amazing location

Bungalow is literally steps to restaurants and salado glassworks but it feels like you’re in the woods! It has everything you need and the muffins were delicious!

We stayed here to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. Everything about Bungalow Oaks was wonderful. Here are a few special touches and accommodations that were provided: covered parking, a back porch with rocking chairs that provide a view of the creek and sounds of birds and church bells, a super comfortable king size bed, a tile shower with a seat, a bar with a Keurig, countertop ice machine, microwave, blueberry muffins in the frig with bottled water along with coffee pods, paper towels, Kleenex, and many other thoughtful and helpful items to make our stay complete. We highly recommend!

Charming Rustic Cottage Retreat

We were truly impressed with our stay at the cottage, and I must say, the photos don’t quite capture its charm. The rustic decor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the patio overlooking the serene creek offers a perfect spot for relaxation. We especially loved the fully stocked coffee bar—an unexpected but delightful touch that made our mornings extra special. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into the details to ensure our comfort, making our experience incredibly enjoyable. Additionally, the cottage's ideal location allowed us to easily stroll into town, where we enjoyed the festive Christmas lights, adding to the magic of our getaway. If you're searching for a cozy weekend retreat for two, I wholeheartedly recommend this property. We can’t wait to book another stay in the near future. It’s a hidden gem that shouldn’t be missed!

Great Place to Stay

This was our second time to stay at Bungalow Oaks. Very beautiful and cozy place while visiting Salado for the Christmas Stroll. We had everything we needed and plan to return this summer. Highly recommend!!
