We love this 1925 historical home with its colonial ranch design. It is situated with its guesthouse on a large one acre lot with a private small lake in its backyard - a fun and rare find right in the middle of Urban OKC! Historically, this estate was settled upon hundreds of acres of cattle land, and the 950 sq. ft. guesthouse during those years was the estate's bunk house for its ranch hands. We recently gutted the guesthouse and restored its original pine wood floors and historical stone fireplace (not functional) for a modern yet historical charming feel.
Use of the property’s private patio is available to relax and listen to the sound of ducks and the lake’s running fountain or the evening sound of the outdoors with the string lights lit above. Although located in the heart of urban OKC, evenings out back feel as though you are in the country; it’s truly the best of both worlds!
All the overnight necessities are provided such as bath amenities (body wash, hair soaps & hairdryer), breakfast to-go, filtered water and a fun selection of coffees and teas. The HD Smart TV will top off the night with all basic TV apps accessible such as Netflix, Amazon Prime & Roku. Relax! We’ve got it covered!

With two bedrooms and two closets available, the queen size bed includes a memory foam mattress to ensure a perfect night’s sleep!

We have also provided an office space within this open floor-plan bedroom for those of you traveling on business. The sofa turns into a full size Urban Outfitters comfy bed. If needed, set up of the bed with bedding and a memory foam mattress topper is provided for you before arrival. Access to this room's closet is granted upon request.

A queen size air mattress is also available and will be set up with bedding before your arrival if needed.

Clean sheets and towels are provided at the beginning of every stay. To ensure you get settled in and have a great start to your visit, we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, detergents and other essentials. However, these may not be enough for those booking an extended stay, and you may need to purchase additional supplies.
Settings are blocked for accepting children due to the lake and new furniture.
I’m open to children if you feel your child is a fit for our space. A request to book with details about your kiddo (ex. ages) is needed, and together we can decide if this Airbnb is a fit for your needs. Thank you!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
No smoking including vaping inside the guest house. Please respect our new furniture and belongings so that other guests may too enjoy a smoke and chemical free environment.
We have a dog - a standard poodle - with a deep bark; however, have no fear as he is total poodle and pal! He is an indoor dog and will be inside our home most of the time with an occasion playtime outdoors.
We love our neighbors! In fact, my husband grew up on this street. We have a 30 year history with our neighbors and expect to host guests who will be respectful of our property and neighborhood as well.
OKC is all highway which means you’ll need the highway to get anywhere in town; however no worries as it’s super easy to figure out. We’re still relatively a small city with a 7 - 10 minute drive to all the fun in any direction.
We are located in the heart of it all and just around the corner from I44 and Hefner Parkway, two main OKC highways which easily get you anywhere in the metro.
Downtown, Midtown and its art districts are minutes away as well as Classen Curve (upscale retail shopping), Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and the Penn Square Mall. Also via these main highways is easy entry into Edmond, Yukon and Norman - suburbs of OKC.
