Spectacular vacation family home!

Superb and thorough pre-trip instructions made our arrival a breeze. Beautiful kitchen well-stocked for all our cooking needs. Great gas grill put to good use. Spacious home with tons of activities for the kids in our group ages 3-13. Outdoor pool. Treehouse, Hammock and Fire pit and Game room all put to good use. Multiple dining areas inside and out. Gorgeous mater bedroom/bath. Incredible vistas of the Green Mountains! We loved this house and the helpful, friendly owners!

Great stay for extended family get together

This is a beautiful location and the layout of the house lends itself perfectly for extended family get togethers. The view is 100% green mountains with no structures in sight and a clear line of sight to camel’s hump. The hostess clearly communicated and very responsive to any questions.

The views are stunning!

Sybille was a wonderful host, very communicative and genuinely eager to make sure we had a marvelous stay at Villa Ausblick. The house is AMAZING and provided everything we needed and more! I especially loved the children's playroom as it kept the grandbabies entertained and happy. We could not get enough of the fantastic views and the general splendor of the property. The amount of love and care the Kim's have put into this place shows in every detail. I highly recommend this spacious, comfortable, welcoming property for your stay. We definitely hope to return one day, perhaps during another season. I cannot thank you enough!

An oasis in the mountains

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Villa Ausblick is! Outdoor pool, porch, frog pond, tree house, green Mountain View’s and sunsets, you name it. Inside there are so many opportunities to keep busy or relax inside with cozy couches, a beautiful fireplace and games for young and adults. We especially appreciated just how organized and well labeled the home was. It was a fabulous vacation spot and we hope to visit again! Thank you!

Mountain oasis

We spent a wonderful week at Villa Ausblick with our children and grandchildren. The house was very well equipped and we had everything we needed to make our stay a success. The pool was wonderful, the grounds were beautifully landscaped, and the views were spectacular. There was plenty to do for our 4 and 6 year old granddaughters and lots of space to be together or spread out as needed. The location was peaceful and secluded on the top of a ridge, yet was very close to grocery shopping, restaurants and historic Waterbury. We loved the area. The owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again should we have the oppportunity.

Wonderful property

We had a large family group including children, parents, and grandparents. The house worked out perfectly. Great set up, clean, well equipped, lots to do for the kids. The information provided was thorough and helpful. Kids loved the treehouse, frog pond, firepit, and especially the beautiful pool. Close to restaurants in Waterbury and Stowe.

Beautiful and peaceful escape!

My family and I had the most memorable 2 week stay at Villa Ausblick! We took advantage of every part of the beautiful property, inside and out. Our 3 young boys treasured their days exploring the frog pond, playing in the treehouse, swimming in the pool, eating s’mores by the fire pit at night, playing foosball and watching movies in the basement, and enjoying every toy in the playroom. The adults enjoyed all of that and more - meals and drinks on the 2 decks, some exercise equipment, and unbelievable views! And on days we wanted to venture out we found amazing food and activities all within 10-20 minutes. Our favorite was picnicking and kayaking at Waterbury Center State Park. The owners thought of literally everything you could ever need in a rental home. I have never felt more taken care of when staying at someone else’s home. We are so grateful to the Kim family for sharing their oasis with us!

Beautiful week in Waterbury

The property is so incredible - our party (ages 67 years down to 4 months) had a wonderful week at the house and in the surrounding area (including the charming town of Waterbury as well as Stowe). It was absolutely perfect for kids, although they needed supervision given the pool, pond and mountain location. The views and mountain air will keep you outside, but the house is so well equipped you almost hoped a rainy day would come along so you could stay inside and watch movies and play board games in the cozy basement/bar.

Beautiful Property

The Kim’s were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our questions. We found trying to compost properly a bit difficult since none of the 3 families had ever done this before but this did not detract from the house or property. We were never able to cool the second floor below 74 degrees but the fans in each bedroom helped. It was warmer in VT the week we were there which probably contributed to the A/C issue. We loved the pool, grounds and game room. This was one of the first family vacations we’ve had where a TV was hardly ever turned on. This says a lot for the property.

Family Vacation

We had a great time at this house. The view was great, the house had plenty of space for all of us and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was perfect for us. Close to hiking, Waterbury and Stowe so you can do it all without having to drive far. Only thing to be aware of is the AC really wasn’t very effective. We had it at the lowest the host allows the entire time (70 degrees) and it never got below 74 in the master. I stayed in the bunk room and our baby monitor read 80 on a few nights before bed. It was a very hot week though so maybe in more mild weather it would have been better. Overall a great stay and we would recommend for a family vacation.

Exceeded already high expectations

This property truly has it all! Inside, the home was extremely well-equipped, with everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. Everything was immaculate, which was important to us staying with young children. Outside is where things REALLY shined. Incredible views while you're enjoying the pool, a treehouse that provided hours of fun, a pond that was so idyllic, lawn games, and a natural rock to climb. Finally, Sibylle was so responsive, thorough, and has really thought of everything. We felt very well taken care of. We can't wait to go back!!

Perfect Winter Vacation

Our winter stay at Villa Ausblick with extended family was great! The house was everything we expected it to be. It was well stocked, clean, spacious, and was appealing to everyone in our group. The location was perfect too, secluded enough to feel like we had elbow room and a short drive to Waterbury and Stowe to go out and explore Vermont. We will definitely consider returning next year!
