Pool Not Fit For Use
We specifically booked this property for 14 nights for relaxation, with a pool, but only stayed for one night. Upon arrival, we found that the pool was unusable due to contamination. We immediately reported this fact to the property owner. The pool man attended on four occasions during our first evening and to our horror, emptied several large bags of a white chemical into the pool. He also attached a large handwritten sign to a nearby tree stating âSwimming Prohibitedâ. We made a decision to vacate the property the following morning as it was not fit for purpose.Secondary to this, but evidence of general lack of maintenance within the property were the following problems:* Door handle missing from inside shower cubicle door. This meant that someone else had to close the door.* The Shower Head kept disconnecting from the hose dispersing water everywhere.* The wash basin plug in the shower room had disconnected from the release lever. Therefore, to release the plug meant reaching under the sink to push the plug open.
