El Encanto es un ingenioso, vista la casa de lujo con patios generosos y jardines privados. Ofrecemos tres encantadoras suites ideales para familias o parejas múltiples. Ver otros anuncios para suites individuales.

El arte es un tema central, con folkart recopilada durante años de viajes México, además de trabajos inspirados en la naturaleza contemporáneos y toques caprichosos que va a sorprender y deleitar. Una mezcla ecléctica de muebles hechos a mano, ventanas de madera tradicionales, y alfombras orientales en todo transmitir una sensación atemporal íntimo. Muchas personas han dicho que es como vivir en una de las pinturas de Diane.

Comfort-diseñado para el clima templado de la famosa Baja sur, habitaciones derrame en generosos patios cubiertos, al abrigo de invierno nortes rígidos y abiertos a la suave brisa de verano. Jardines amurallados privados ponen algunos de los nativos más vistosas de Baja California en la exhibición, complementadas con plantas adaptadas al desierto desde todo el mundo. Flores atractivas para los colibríes y mariposas, además de pilas para pájaros y comederos, mantienen los jardines animado!

What a lovely vacation retreat! El Encanto is enchanting, comfortable and so well equipped for a comfortable vacation. The host is communicative and responsive and we will most certainly be back again!

Best rental in Baja?

This may be the best rental in all of Baja. The place has so much character and is so well thought out. Everything a person would need is provided. We had friends over for dinner one night and it was great for entertaining as well. Will definitely stay again!

Architectural wonder

The most beautiful place on the beach! This house is a living work of art! The furniture and decor is exiting, amazing and one of a kind. Our stay was super comfortable. We had all the amenities necessary to make us comfortable. Would have loved a hair dryer that I did not bring but otherwise everything was excellent. The garden is s paradise full of birds and song and the views from the top floor breathtaking . Thank you for everything!

In the 'olden days' when solar was so expensive, we had to forbid the use of hairdryers. We recently upgraded the solar system so hairdryers should no longer be any problem. Magical Mexican Desert/Sea Hideaway

This place is too good to be true. The owner, an artist, built and designed and decorated the house. Everywhere you look, there is a surprise. The mix is eclectic and it works wonderfully. The home is immaculate. I don't know how they keep everything so sparkling clean in the desert/sea environment, but they do. Every room is different, and all are great for different reasons. Diane is a pleasure to work with, and the managers, Henri and Pilu are charming, and there whenever you need them, helping with activities, house questions, you name it. We can't wait to return!

Another Great Stay

This was our 3rd stay, second time with friends. The design of the whole compound works so well by providing great gathering spaces, yet plenty privacy if you want it. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the desert garden, the fountain, and the wildlife (at least 12 species of birds visited the garden). Discovered a new slogan folks are using for Cabo Pulmo: Bad Roads, Good People. So true.

We had a wonderful stay at ElCanto, with its beautiful gardens, artwork, upper and lower porches, lovely cabana, and beautiful bedrooms w baths. So lovely. We cooked together, played music and hiked and swam at Cabo Pulmo reef. Thank u & we will look forward to our next visit. Hamre family

Superb in every way

Incredibly beautiful location (Cabo Pulmo) inspired this lovely artists getaway… beautiful inside and out, fabulous garden of succulents, active bird life, walls hung with the owners own lovely artwork. Each family member had gorgeous alone space as well as family together apace. Beautiful space, beautiful time.

A week in paradise

A week in this wonderful and comfortable artistic home in Cabo Pulmo is the perfect antidote for dreary winter Seattle. El Encanto sets the stage for bringing your senses back to life. If you love the desert air, the sun on your back, and the chorus of birds in the morning you couldn't find a better location. This sleepy little town is remote and quiet enough to truly get away. Diving, hikes in the desert, and the hot-springs and waterfalls outside of nearby Santiago offer plenty to do. But the rich aesthetic of this colorful home is such that you could easily enjoy a week with family simply watching hummingbirds off the veranda and dining together on the balcony. Pick up your supplies (esp limes and tequila) before you reach Cabo Pulmo. But count on fresh fish from the boats arriving late morning to the beaches south of the town. The owner promptly answers all queries. Junior, the caretaker, is cheerfully at your beckon call. After many years of returning to Baja this town remains our favorite spot and staying in this exquisite home was a joy.

Family Retreat

The house was beautiful from the garden to the art and all the thoughtful details. We planned the trip to get away from it all, enjoy hiking, swimming and snorkeling. This home checked all the boxes! While we loved to explore the beaches and hiking in the area we were also just as happy to stay at the house, cooking, reading, painting, and relaxing. It was a true gift!

Peace and tranquility in a pristine and authentic Mexican setting

This is a wonderful spot to experience what I think of as the best of Mexico. The very comfortable and well-laid out house is perfect for a family. Considering the very remote location, Diane has the house very well supplied. Diane is super at quickly responding to any questions and very helpful. The house was comfortable and charming. You fall asleep to the sounds of the waves on the beach and wake up to the roosters and chirping birds. The night sky is stunning with the sight of the milky way and the planets/ stars. The beaches are beautiful, the water is warm. There are a lot of interesting underwater things to see if you like diving or snorkeling. The Mexican people in the village are super nice. For me, everything about the stay exceeded my expectations.

Breathtakingly beautiful and a welcome retreat from reality!

Our group of six had a lovely 4 night stay at El Encanto, which is not only beautiful, but very well-equipped with everything one could imagine--including snorkeling gear, beach chairs and ice chests and every cooking item. We were so comfortable here we didn't want to leave and can't wait for our next opportunity to visit!

coolest house I've ever seen!

I'm conflicted about telling someone (anyone) how amazing this property is because I'd really like to have it all to myself but it's beautiful and Cabo Pulmo is not to be missed. Just a wonderful place to stay!

Amazing Oasis surrounded by Nature

We had a wonderful stay at El Encanto! The house is gorgeous, and the kitchen is well-appointed for all cooking needs. The desert flower and succulent garden is spectacular, and attracted colorful birds and butterflies all day long, and crickets serenaded the setting sun. With three king/queen beds and a single roll-away, I'd recommend no more than 7 people, unless you bring your own inflatable (with foot-pump). Far from any municipal utilities, the house is off the grid, so visitors should remember that electricity and water are a luxury, and use judiciously. We highly recommend staying here if you're interested in snorkeling or diving at the reef, it's really a singular experience!

Perfect hideaway

Cabo Pulmo is our favorite vacation destination but before VRBO we had only been able to make day trips down there. El Encanto is my dream house. The entire place is surprising & wonderful but the kitchen & bathrooms were AMAZING! You will just wander around gasping until you've taken it all in. The A/C was nice but it ran off a generator and kicked off @ dawn. Although we didn't stay long enough to turn it on there is a TV & DVD player but no animated movies. The managers are pleasing and helpful~ they even sent a masseuse over to see if we were interested in a massage (60$ per hour), which we happily accepted while laying on her table outside one of the small casitas with the sun setting and the breeze blowing. The entire experience was lovely and we learned a valuable lesson, next time when we land at the airport in San Jose del Cabo we will be driving directly to El Encanto. Travel tip, go with plenty of cash & Tecate light. The stores, restaurants & dive shops in Cabo Pulmo are cash only (& it's a Corona/Modelo community) and the nearest bank is 50 miles away. We also have strong feelings for the Eco Adventures dive shop, the Castro brothers are friendly, informative & accommodating. I would also whole heartedly recommend Los Caballeros (not even a block away from El Encanto) I had the catch of the day and it was to die for~ they even fresh squeezed the juice for my cocktail (cup running over).

El Encanto Inn is truly a...

El Encanto Inn is truly an enchanted place created by true artists. Over the four days we stayed there, I continued to notice one exquisite little detail after another. The whole place is a real jewel. Your every want has been anticipated. I could have spent the whole visit just sitting in one or another of the several garden areas to watch the huge variety of birds and enjoy the spectacular gardens. Our only disappointment was the wind which blows intermittently along the coast from November until March so stay a week instead of four days. Do not miss the the waterfall; directions are included in the very informative notebook provided. We will return.

We thought of the house and gardens as a giant art project. It was truly a labor of love and took us two years to build, working closely with local craftsmen.
