    Great Views!

    Well appointed chalet with all needed kitchen items. Very convenient to the train station. Only drawback is the very steep hill to get to the property. We enjoyed our time.

    The chalet was gorgeous, the kitchen well equipped, and there were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family of 5 plus the 4 grandparents. We absolutely loved our stay at Chalet M and in Grindelwald.

    Just a perfect holiday. Chalet is so well equipped (apart from lack of a kettle), we could not have wished for anything better. We would thoroughly recommend this property and would love to return as soon as possible.

    PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

    From the time we started looking into renting this property, to the end, with all the time in between, our experience was perfect. The owner and their local "on site" colleague were so kind and nice to work with. You really don't need to leave this home. The view and setting are so beautiful. You could just sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the mountains. The home is absolutely off the charts. From the setting, to the beautiful living and sleeping areas, it does not get any better. Plus, you are just a very short walk from the center of Grindelwald.

    Awesome!

    The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. The steps are worth the effort, however, as the views are spectacular. The walk from the Terminal is lovely if not steep :). We had a fabulous time at Chalet M and would unreservedly recommend it!

    Wundervolles Haus im Alpenchic

    Ein wunderschönes, sehr grosszügig und modern eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, das durchgehend und gekonnt im geschmackvollen Alpenchic daherkommt. Die Küche ist umfassend eingerichtet und bietet mit einem grossen Gasherd einen tollen Arbeitsplatz für mundende Familienessen. Im Essraum steht ein unglaublicher Nussbaum(?)-Tisch - etwas nur annähernd ähnliches haben wir bisher in noch keinem anderen Ferienhaus gesehen. Auf drei Stockwerken verteilt befinden sich vier vollwertige Schlafzimmer mit hervorragenden Boxspring-Betten und auf jedem Stockwerk ein grosses, modernes Bad mit z.T. separatem WC. Aus jedem Zimmer sieht man direkt auf den Eiger mit Mittellegigrat und Nordwand. Dank der Lage auf der Nordseite des Tals ist das Haus den ganzen Tag durch besonnt. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist zwar steil, aber liegt umso privater an einer nur für Anlieger befahrbaren Strasse. Alle Informationen von Nathan, die wir vor Antritt der Reise erhalten hatten, waren liebevoll hergerichtet, korrekt und vollständig. Das Haus war sehr sauber gereinigt, alle Betten mit schöner weisser Bettwäsche bezogen, mehr als ausreichend Duschtücher vorhanden und auf jedem Bett liebevoll eine kleine Schokoladentafel einladend hingelegt. Ein grosses Kopliment an die Reinigungsfirma - auch das ist nicht überall selbstverständlich! Trotz etwas durchzogenem Wetter (da gibt's in den Alpen halt auch im Sommer keine Garantie :-)) haben wir eine absolut fantastische Woche in diesem tollen Ferienhaus verbracht. Wir werden gerne wieder einmal hier unsere Ferien verbringen!

    Just perfect

    The communication with Nathan was perfect. Very helpful and with quick response. We are a group of three families, 6 adults and 5 kids ( 5 to 14 years old) and are going on holiday about twice a year for the last 7 years and we all agreed THIS was the best place we ever had. Beds comfy, view perfect, pots and pans and raclette and cutlery etc. not counted - there was more than enough of everything. We hate it, if there are exactly the number of glasses, plats etc. for the number of people the house is advertised). The bedrooms are nicely decorated with lots of storage- big cupboards. The bathrooms are all new with everything one needs ( hairdraiers etc). The house has been decorated with lots of attention to details. You can see in every single corner, that the owners wanted to make it a special place for them self and we are glad they are willing to share it with us! There are two covered parking places under the house. Since we had a lot of snowfall the week we stayed in the chalet, we were glad to have 4WD cars. You can walk to the skiing facilities, but because of the steep climb back up to the chalet after skiing we took the cars. There is free parking close to the station where the train to the Kleine Scheidegg leaves from. Otherwise it’s 5 SFR. We definitely recommend Nathan’s exceptionally nice chalet and would love to come back. ( The review might sound a bit over the top, but it really is the perfect place)

    Gorgeous chalet with astonishing view!

    I and my family stayed 4 days at this place and everything was wonderful! Beatiful view with absolutely perfect place made our trip great! The owner responded to my asks promptly, so there was no problems at all.

    Chalet M in Grindelwald

    Superb property, situated very conveniently for mountains, shops, cable cars etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at the chalet. It was every bit as good as we remembered it. Happy to go back any time.

    Cozy, Clean, and Charming

    Lovely Swiss Alps home near Grindewald with all the amenities you need to have good family time while visiting the mountains. The driveway is steep and the home is not best for walking to/from town, but the charm of the house makes up for the distance from town. Great kitchen for cooking! Good quiet sleeping house!

    Luxurious Beauty

    Chalet M is an impeccably appointed residence with sweeping views of all the majesty the region offers. Location is an easy distance to town and transportation with the challenging gradations of the different paths posing a good warmup to all the activities available to you. Nathan was professional, responsive and overall great in communications leading up to and during the stay. Highly recommended!

    Amazing!

    We rented Chalet M May 17-24. There were 10 of us ranging in age from10- 79. We had a wonderful time. The chalet is even more beautiful and the view of the Eiger more stunning then the pictures show. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, glasses and any other utensil you may need. Our favorite surprise was seeing the raclette ovens and we had a very memorable farewell dinner. There are enough bathroom linens and if you need to wash there is a washer and dryer. Nathan is a gem to work with and always gets back to you if you have questions. While planning our stay there were so many chalets to choose from. I will save you some time and tell you to rent this one. You will not regret it!

    Chalet très confortable pour toute la famille, grand-père, parents, adolescents et petits enfants. Nous avons passé de très bons moments dans ce magnifique domaine skiable de Grindelwald et les moments de détente au soleil sur le balcon de chalet étaient fort agréables. Le chalet est bien alénagé avec tout le confort nécessaire, la cuisine est parfaitement adaptée pour le nombre de convives. L'ambiance y est très agréable. La montée pour accéder au chalet peut être périlleuse sans chaîne s'il neige. Mais nous n'avons eu aucun problème car la route était bien déneigée pendant notre séjour.
