Our large family home is open to you so you can have as wonderful a time as we did... Access is possible: By car: Via the A9 motorway to Nîmes. By train: Take the TGV to Nîmes Centre, then the TER regional train from Nîmes to Alès, getting off at St Geniese de Malgoirès station. The house is a five-minute walk from the station. The village is quiet, and you'll find all amenities there, from a bakery and petrol station to a supermarket and a garage, etc. Many leisure activities are available nearby (the furthest are accessible by car), for example, treetop adventure courses, a visit to the bamboo grove, the Cévennes Little Train (a historic steam train that takes you through the entire Alès and Anduze region on the old Cévennes railway line), the pottery workshops of Anduze, the candy museum in Uzès, the very typical markets of Uzès on Sundays and Sommières on Saturdays with its flea market. (A visit to the village of Fauda is worthwhile.) Tennis and horseback riding are also available nearby, etc. All information is available on site. The house and its wooded garden offer shade and coolness, as well as privacy in this large, walled, and secure space. In front of the main terrace of the house, a large swimming pool (secured with a barrier and alarm) awaits you. Its gently sloping deck leads you smoothly into the water at your own pace. A bar area and pool house are at your disposal, along with a gas or wood-fired barbecue and pool toys.
Inside the house itself, on the ground floor you will find a large, fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a spacious living room, and three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. There is also a TV room/library. At the rear, there is a laundry room with a washing machine.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with its own private terrace, bathroom, and toilet. A quiet corner is located on the mezzanine. (Access to the stairs for babies and toddlers can be restricted by a self-locking gate.) A baby cot, playpen, and high chair, all made of wood, are available if needed. In this verdant setting, where the property is located, you are at the heart of a multitude of activities, 20 minutes from Nîmes and Uzès, the Gard wine route, visits to the Roman museums of Nîmes or the Roman Arena, historical monuments, canoeing down the Gardon River passing under the Pont du Gard, or enjoying horseback riding and hiking.
