Hidden Hollow Log Cabin + Cabane dans les arbres pour enfants (Snowbowl N / B et centre-ville)

Pendant l'hiver, les 4 roues motrices et les chaĂźnes sont nĂ©cessaires pour accĂ©der Ă  cette cabane en rondins de luxe familiale unique de 2400 pieds carrĂ©s faite de rondins d'Ă©picĂ©a massifs de la Colombie-Britannique, au Canada. Sur 2,5 hectares de pin ponderosa isolĂ©, en bordure de la forĂȘt nationale de Cocconino. 3 min. conduire au-delĂ  de l'arrĂȘt de la cabine est l'arrĂȘt Snow Bowl. TraĂźneau autorisĂ© dans les locaux de la cabine. 6 personnes maximum pendant le sĂ©jour. Pas d'animaux ou de fumer s'il vous plaĂźt!

En plus de profiter d'une vue privée sur les sommets depuis le porche enveloppant ou le balcon supérieur, faites une randonnée sur les sentiers forestiers à quelques pas. La cabine dispose de 3 chambres (2 chambres avec lits queen et 1 avec lits superposés avec lit gigogne) + mezzanine avec futon queen, canapé-lit de la salle familiale, 2 salles de bains, mais nous vous demandons de ne pas amener plus de 6 personnes (pour réduire l'usure et déchirure sur la cabine).

Snowy Weekend

The stay was wonderful and as expected once we were able to get to the cabin. We were unable to access the cabin the first night because of a major snow storm. Very unique property with great views and good communications with property owner throughout the stay.

The property is beautiful, the house is clean and inviting. Everything is setup for the guest and kids in mind. The kids loved the bunk beds and loft. We hope to return again in the future when there is snow to enjoy.

Christmas 2024

Overall the property is as listed and accommodated our family for Christmas. The home is beautiful, clean and well appointed. The only thing I would mention is to have a very clear and concise conversation about the homes water usage. There is, in my opinion a great deal of anxiety surrounding the homes guest water usage and even though we were well under consumption for our guest count, as verified by the host during a conversation with her on Christmas day, her anxiety was too much for us to manage and we left a day early to release her of any continued issue. Again, beautiful home with great views.

The Perfect Cabin Getaway

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Whether we were enjoying the view from the deck or curling up inside, it was the perfect retreat. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Flagstaff Retreat

Christina is a top notch host! The views from this property are tough to beat. The pines perfectly frame Humphrey's Peak, and the home sits on top of a hill creating a view above the tree tops below. The temps are considerably cooler than in town with the added elevation. With the property bordering the national forest there is an abundance of hiking and adventuring right out the back door. Christina even has a hike mapped out you can follow that has a historical marker for a covered wagon trail from the 1800s. This kitchen also has EVERYTHING! All too often rentals provide the bare minimum, but this property has every appliance or utensil and then some. Operating the various features of the home (media, lighting, AC, fireplaces etc) is a breeze with the excellent labeling and instructions. We felt like we were "off the grid" but Downtown is a short drive down the hill giving you the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful and authentic log cabin!

Peaceful Retreat

We tend to seek properties that are a little off the beaten path. The cabin was the perfect getaway for us. Downtown is just 15 minutes away; however, the cabin's private location on the forest's edge allowed us to detach from everything. It is in an idyllic setting. The cabin itself is fantastic, and the craftsmanship is exceptional. The layout was perfect for our family of five. Everyone enjoyed morning coffee and spectacular views from the deck. All of the local points of interest are within a short drive. We also went on some great hikes straight back from the cabin and into the forest. Deer quietly grazed around the cabin most of the time and we even encountered some elk while on an afternoon walk. We hope to return.

Flagstaff July 4th long weekend

My family and I enjoyed the cabin on top of the hill. Such peaceful mornings and evenings out on the porch. Loved the Mountain View and the trees. (Saw deer two times and lots of squirrels and the neighbors dog.) House had everything we needed (and then some). Easy and great communication with Cristina. Btw, it’s a pretty steep drive up there. While it looks close to downtown Flagstaff, keep in mind the travel time out of neighborhood takes a few minutes. Not bad, just keep that in mind.

Perfect Base Camp for Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Sedona!

Wow! We spent a week at Christine's beautiful home nestled in Coconino National Forest overlooking Humphrey's Peak (highest in AZ). This is a very unique property located at the top of the hill in a secluded neighborhood at the edge of town. The house is spacious and clean. The views and deck are amazing. We loved the gas fire pit; it was so easy to operate the kids roasted smores every night. You can hike into Coconino right of the back of the house while Flagstaff amenities are 10 minutes away. We used this as our base camp to tour the Grand Canyon, then did a day around Sedona and a day up to Paige to see Antelope Canyon and Horsehoe Bend. It was such a blessing to come back to the cooler weather of Flagstaff (the house is at 7,500') after a day in the heat. We grilled every night outside and ate on the deck while watching the sun set over Humphrey's Peak. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, with the other homes acres away. Christine's neighbor was so welcoming and gave us great tips on things to do in the area. We wouldn't hesitate for a minute to stay here again!

The property was amazing! Beautiful location, peace and quiet in nature! Just what we needed to unwind and relax. The cabin itself is clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Christina is an excellent host, all information was provided and she is quick to respond to any questions. And the view! Unsurpassed. This is the best properly we’ve ever rented on Vrbo. Hated to leave. Hope to come back!

Great Place to Stay in Flagstaff

This spot has it all. Very clean and organized. Convenient to everything you would want to do in Flagstaff and surrounding area. Only seven miles to Snow Bowl for skiing or snowboarding. Even though it is convenient to every thing, you can still get a remote feel with beautiful views of mountain from the porch. Property hostess is very friendly and helpful. The next time I am in Flagstaff, I will stay here.

Best vacation

We stayed in Flagstaff so we could visit the Grand Canyon and Sedona. My children absolutely loved the house with the treehouse and they played in the snow every day. We felt extremely safe in that location, and it was so clean and organized. We loved everything about this house and will definitely come back!!

Amazing

We had a great time. The pictures don’t do this cabin justice. The views are truly amazing and the atmosphere is completely relaxing. The cabin has everything you need for your stay and felt like a second home immediately.

Great location!

The cabin was beautiful and well kept. The location was amazing and we were able to hike in the forest right behind the cabin. Kids loved the tree house and loft. Balcony and views wonderful and fire pit worked great. Beds comfortable, and everything we could need was there!

Mountain Paradise

This mountain paradise is situated amongst tall pine trees and offers breathtaking mountain views. The cabin backs up to a National Forest, so incredible hikes are just yards away while downtown Flagstaff is a very short drive as is the Arizona Snowbowl. The host is organized and helpful and graciously provided several ideas for hiking and day excursions. The house is clean and spacious, equipped with all of the amenities a family would require. There is a living area on each of the three floors in addition to a wrap-around porch where we spent a significant amount of time enjoying the out of doors during our summertime visit. There is also a fun treehouse on the property for children and a cozy outdoor seating area with a firepit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin, and our family is already contemplating a return visit!

In a mere 2 hour drive north from sunny Phoenix, you can be sipping hot chocolate on our cabin deck listening to the pine trees sway in the cool breeze. In winter, if it's raining here, it's probably snowing at the cabin! Quick, get in the car and grab the sleds!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There are not many authentic log cabins in Flagstaff...much less, ones that sit on 2.5 acres and border the national forest. At slightly higher elevation than downtown Flagstaff, the cabin is just a bit cooler in summer and snowier in winter. It's just before you hit the turnoff for Snow Bowl Ski Resort. Since it's on the north side of Flagstaff, it's a perfect spot for exploring northern AZ (Canyon is only 72 miles away)!
