Perfect little getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great little cabin especially if you wanted to avoid cooking. We saw deer each day we were there and we loved walking the paved roads. Beautiful colors in the wild flowers, prickly pears and the pair of cardinals that seemed to follow us. Very relaxing.

We enjoyed walking around the property and using the common area next to the water with mini-golf and sand volleyball. It's a great hang out spot on the property!

Loved hiking around the property and spending time at the lake. My only notes would be that the hiking trail to be better marked because we got lost a few times and that the mini golf isn’t true mini gold but putting green holes.

Our granddaughter was married and the venue was directly across the street from the cabin.Housekeeping had a minor problem as there were dead bugs in the bathtub but I figure it was cleaned after the previous renters and no one checked the tub before we were there due to the time that could have been between the rentals.It was great to have two bathrooms so the trip to the upstairs was not as frequent as it could have been for anyone spending time downstairs.

Loud cars with loud music that would shake windows. This continued late into the night. We believe there was a party in front of our cabin or beside.P.S. The AC vent that was placed through the window was loud.

Reviewer Comments: We along with several family members booked cabins to stay in for my daughters wedding. Almost all of us had issues and had to have maintenance come out. It was disappointing that the air filters were filthy, bath tubs didn’t drain, etc. It wasn’t worth the amount of money we all paid.

Shadyside cabin and grounds

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay centered around attending a wedding on site. The venue, lake and recreational areas were well maintained and very clean. Our cabin was very clean. The towels and sheets definitely need updating. The bed was very comfortable. However the air conditioner was broken and a floor portable one was there there with piping that went to the window. It was very very loud, but it did cool the room. There was no place really to hang wedding clothes. There was a wardrobe that was not long enough for dresses and had 3 very bent wire hangers. The bathroom downstairs had a shower and toilet. Hand washing had to be done in the kitchen sink. We all thought the pricing was too expensive.Overall,the area provided an opportunity for all our family and friends to stay on site and gather for a long wedding weekend.
