It's a pity you didn't mention this to myself or Lorenson when he came on the Sunday morning. The pipes of all the studios are connected and Lorenson is the maintenance officer on site. Dear Ralph Thank you for your message which gives me the opportunity to give additional information concerning rental of our studio Aurea. Indeed, the studio is commensurate for two persons and the small kitchenette is equipped as much as possible so as to give a maximum comfort. Unfortunately, Mauritius is still not on the list of countries for which payment can be paid directly via abritel/Homeaway agency. As I am a house owner I cannot offer the possibility to pay by credit card. Our clients have therefore two possibilities, either by bank transfer or via paypal. To confirm the booking 30% deposit is paid on one of the two options given. As per the contract, the balance can be paid either by bank transfer or paypal fifteen days prior to arrival or by cash upon arrival. In your case, you chose for payment by cash upon arrival. It looks as if certain clients are eager to taste my Mauritian food and have some groceries already bought for them when they arrive directly from the airport. This agreement is settled prior to arrival and refunded upon presentation of the supermarket receipt. We haven’t thought yet of offering this service to clients already present on the island when they check in at our place. It is therefore understood that food is not included in the cost of the rental. This also applies to the Nespresso capsules which can be bought from Raj at cost price. We have a very dedicated maintenance support and, as you could appreciate, the lamp was changed the same day. In a lifetime practice in renting our houses, we constantly do our best to please our clients and offer them nice holidays. Best wishes for Xmas and the New Year
