Runaway Rooster B&B - The Nest

Located in the heart of charming Bloomfield, this stunning, chalet-style home has everything you need to escape the city barnyard.

Its spacious, upscale, cottage-like feel and aesthetic create a non-traditional BnB experience – perfect if you’re looking for a unique, cool vibe and something completely different.

It’s the ideal place to hit pause, relax and experience the bounty of the County. Escape for a day, a weekend, a week or longer.

Centrally located, the beautiful, airy, red-cedar, Pan Abode-style home features three bedrooms on the second floor, and a stunning Great Hall that soars to an 18-foot-high ceiling. It offers a resort-like ambience with several outdoor seating areas on a large creek-side property.


THE NEST
The Nest is a cute room with great personality!

A double-size bed wrought-iron bed, chandelier and Van Gogh’s Sunflowers grace this room (yep, not real, but it sure is pretty!).

A tall cedar wall frames the east-facing window with pull-down shades. There are in-room bath towels and robes – for that quick dash to the bathroom.

For your absolute comfort, the room also feature self-controlled air-conditioning and heating and a ceiling fan … or simply open the window and enjoy the country-fresh air!

NOTE: We only rent out the Nest when it's booked in conjunction with the Coop bedroom as they share a bathroom. The two rooms are perfect for family and friends!

The roomy bathroom is just outside the door. It features classic black-and-white tiling and a four-piece bath including a shower with rain-head and hand-held options. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and towels are conveniently supplied.


And of course, a sumptuous, more-than-continental breakfast is included!

Feel free to explore our property to its fullest. In addition to our spectacular and spacious Great Hall, there are four tiered outdoor decks for sitting and lounging. There’s also a one-acre lot that runs down to Bull’s Creek.

Feel like a day at the beach? For guests staying two nights or more, our Sandbanks Park pass is yours to borrow.

The Coop and The Nest are cute rooms with great personality! They’re perfect if you’re travelling with friends or family (12 years+) and don’t mind a shared bathroom.


RUNAWAY ROOSTER GUEST COTTAGE
A fabulous four-season, private, freshly renovated guesthouse featuring an open-concept kitchen/living room area with sky lights, gas fireplace, separate bedroom, 4-piece bathroom and even laundry facilities. The Guest Cottage is a self-contained unit located on our property adjacent to the main house. The Guest Cottage is ideally suited to two people.
