Parkview Cottage, Cozy Getaway

Parkview Cottage is in a great location just a couple blocks from shopping, Shaw Theatre, the waterfront and restaurants in Historic Old Town, Niagara-on-the-Lake! The community pool is right next door! Prices are subject to change daily.



-2 Bedrooms – 2 Queen beds

-1 Bathroom – Tub shower combination

-Hosts up to 4 guests (including infants and children)

-Private parking for up to 2 vehicles, contactless check in

-Dog friendly (one adult dog - $100 pet fee; a portion of the pet fee goes to support our local pet rescue – Angel’s Rest)

-Central heating, and air conditioning

-High speed WiFi and TV with cable channels and access to streaming services



The open concept living room and dining is great for relaxing after a busy day touring heritage sites, wineries, breweries or attending a Shaw play! There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, both with queen beds.



The kitchen is equipped with:



-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started

-Stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher

-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)

-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths

-Salt and pepper



The lower floor laundry is supplied with:



-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets



Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided.



We have a small front porch by the main entrance that is great in the evening to watch the people go by, and often you can see the horse drawn carriages coming and going.



The side deck with seating for 4 and a BBQ/grill is on the South side of the house so great for the afternoon or evening. It's easily accessible to the kitchen. The fenced back yard offers a tranquil garden space to relax!



Parkview Cottage built in the 50s has the original front door with teardrop windows and hardwood floors. There have been numerous updates since, but it still has the quaint feel of mid-century modern architecture. Our house is great for one or two couples or a small family. There is parking for 2 cars.



The community pool is right next door and is open from mid-June to Labour Day weekend. (Note there is a daily fee for the community pool.)

Parkview Cottage was a great place to stay! Comfortable home. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the theater. We lucked into being there for the Peach Festival and did not have to “find” a parking spot. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Parkview Cottage was perfect in every way. Close to shops and restaurants, tastefully decorated, clean, cozy and safe. My only recommendation is to please provide better quality hangers. Metal hangers destroy clothes.

Great location, walk to Queen Street, restaurants, shops and parks. Convenient for cycling along the Niagara Recreation trail and throughout the town. Quiet location to relax, very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our visit.

This house hit all the buttons for me! It is perfectly located, 5 minutes to Balzac's Coffee, 10 to the Festival Theatre, 15 to the Royal George, and 5 to the wonderful Veterans Memorial Park with a huge off-leash dog area. The cottage is immaculate with two bedrooms and one full bath, a pleasant living room and eat-in kitchen. I enjoyed my coffee and all the wonderful fresh fruit this area of Ontario has on the large side porch or smaller front porch. The neighbors are all friendly and I enjoyed talking with them. The only problem I had was a burned-out porch light, and my emailed request for repair was answered in 15 minutes. That's some response!! The check-in/check-out process was seamless. I was quite happy with the cottage and it will be my first choice for my return trip in 2026!

We loved the location! We were a little disappointed in the community pool access, but the employees & lifeguards were very nice. It only had public access 3:00-4:30 & 5:30-7pm. You have to pay every session. That was the only downside considering how much our grandson loves to swim, but the location is wonderful!!! We had a great time! One of the most beautiful places I’ve been.

Wonderful stay in heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake

This cottage is perfect get away for Niagara-on-the-Lake. You are 5 minutes walk from the heart of this beautiful town and yet the cottage is so queit. It has everything you need for your stay and a very beautiful garden! The hosts were extremely responsive and i was really impressed with their dedication to customer service.

Fire stick

I've stayed at before. This sink is still too small, but the most annoying issue is the fire stick. As far as I can determine, it's virtually useless unless one has the requisite app. For example, Fibe TV should be a sine qua non of such accommodation but I couldn't access it. I couldn't get any live news but Global! If the fire stick has more to offer, then there needs to be instructions. Otherwise, the location, cleanliness, and general care is excellent. Could you use a few large glasses for soft drinks. Didn't communicate with the property manager except through the app so can only give a 3. I was there on the weekend so I couldn't get insight into the fire stick.
