Secluded Getaway ! ! - Eagle Creek Cottage - Pet friendly!

Secluded cottage located just 27 miles north of Broken Bow which resides on Big Eagle Creek River and Mountain Fork River. This lovely 1,000 square foot cottage sits on vast open land surrounded by large tree lines for privacy. It’s the perfect spot for a family getaway! Eagle Creek Cottage is a 2 bedroom and 2 full bath property offering all the modern amenities and cozy decor. Has a full kitchen and washer/dryer. It sleeps 6 comfortably, a 2 person private bedroom at the front of the cottage and a 4 person bedroom near the back. All beds are queen size beds. Even though we offer central heating if you want to get real cozy, the sun room also has a wood-burning fire stove.
The back patio faces the river and the occasional deer are often seen on the land. Both rivers offer excellent fishing, and the patio also includes a grill and smoker for your fresh catch! After dinner head down to the fire pit which is nestled in the hardwood trees just down from the back deck. Roast some marshmallows, makes s’mores or just kick back and relax!

Beautiful quiet location!

We enjoyed the peace and quiet! The flaura and fauna was exceptional. The cabin had all the amenities that made it a very comfortable stay. Owner/manager was very welcoming as well as very tentative to our needs! Do not hesitate to stay here for a as long you want and need a peaceful stay.

Perfect, tranquil location

If your doing stuff in McCurtain or LeFlore county but want to be far enough away from the hubbub, this is the perfect spot. The sound of the nearby rapids and wildlife are very calming. The house is cozy with enough room for a group; and, Claudia is super communicative and helpful.

Peaceful weekend

My friends and I had an excellent time at the property. The digs enjoyed the freedom to roam and play. The peace and quiet was much needed. Nothing like quiet nights around the campfire staring at the stars.

Quiet Retreat

If you want a quiet getaway to relax, this is the place. My husband and I played board games, napped, and used the grill for some great meals. Our dog enjoyed long walks around the secluded property. The hostess made sure to make it special for our anniversary and is great at communicating.

Great relaxing getaway

We loved this property. Claudia was very attentive and accommodating. We were able to bring our two dogs and they got to run all over the property. It’s full of everything you could need for a nice relaxing stay. Extremely clean, comfortable rental. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Get away!

I have stayed here before and I recommended it to my siblings for a quick getaway! In such a beautiful area and very secluded! Not too far off the highway that you are easily lost.My siblings enjoys the proximity to the water and area available to hike! Hope to return sometime soon!

25th Anniversary

We had a great experience staying at the cabin. Loved the location, we were able to walk our dogs all around. Host made sure she took care of every single detail. Cabin was a little hard to find at night, but daytime it’s no problem at all. We will definitely be returning.

20 minutes north of the busy holiday traffic and chaos. Perfectly quiet and isolated country property. Total seclusion from everything bring peace into the stay. Cute home. Well appointend. We really enjoyed our time here.

Perfect Secluded Getaway

We stayed here for the 2nd time and had an amazing time! Our dogs were able to run free on the property and had the time of their lives. It was only about 40 minutes to the lake & the State Park so we had plenty of time for adventures in the mornings and relaxing with S'mores and wine by the river in the evenings. Claudia was very thoughtful and accommodating once again. I highly recommend visiting this peaceful oasis!

Great getaway for peace and quiet

The cottage is a perfect little getaway location for peace and quiet with lots of acreage. It's very well equipped. The owners have thought of everything that you might need and the communication with the owner is awesome. Claudia is very kind and responsive. We there for 4 days as a family of 3 and a dog. We couldn't have been more pleased with the set up.

Exactly what we were looking for

My husband and I stayed for a weekend to celebrate our Anniversary. We had an amazing time & hope to return sometime with our kids & pups. The cottage is exactly what you would expect from the pictures- cozy, clean, & comfortable. The property is gorgeous, extremely secluded, & has river access. We fished & kayaked before the rain rolled in. The owners are incredibly accommodating & even surprised us with an Anniversary treat! Thanks for a great time guys.

Wonderful!

We had an amazing time! The property is secluded, peaceful and beautiful. You can hear the water running in the river and all the sounds of the outdoors. We loved the fire pit, making s’mores, telling ghost stories as watching the bats at dusk fly around looking for their dinner. We saw deer, heard coyotes and enjoyed the solitude. Everything we needed was there and we didn’t leave for two days. Loved it! Will definitely visit again.
