Welcome to the Historic Edna Farmhouse, an exclusive farmstay retreat. This historic home built in 1908 is located on two private, secluded acres in the heart of San Luis Obispo's Edna Valley Wine Country. This three suite, one bath vacation rental farmhouse that sleeps six has been lovingly restored to make your stay in Edna Valley Wine Country a memorable experience. The location is very quiet, rural and relaxing with 360-degree vineyard and garden views. A fully equipped country kitchen and outdoor BBQ facilities round out your accommodations, but only hint at the experience to come. Its one-of-a-kind location allows wine tasting by foot, bike, car or just relaxation.

Historic Edna

Our stay was wonderful!! the home and environment was lovely- just as the pictures show! Beds very comfortable! The winery was great also- got some history on Edna Valley! We only had trouble finding it -coming from our direction- the home is on one side of the winery and kind-of hidden with the beautiful trees and grounds. We would/will come again when able. Barbara

Nice Escape Right Outside SLO

The property is really unique. The house is truly a historic landmark. It was neat to experience it and spend time on the property. The wives were able to do some wine tasting at Sextant and it was so nice being all on site. The house is located just outside of SLO and an easy 10 minute drive to downtown.

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed as a family of four and enjoyed the abundant space inside and outside the Farm House. Rustic charm aplenty. Easy to get to and from, whether you come from SLO or Pismo Beach. We had one request during our stay, and Chris the property manager was very responsive. Definitely would recommend a stay at the Old Edna Farm House!

Most beautiful farmhouse ever!

When we first walked into the house, I thought I was dreaming! Every detail in the decor was spot-on. The ball n claw bathtub was amazing, and the bed was very comfortable. There are 3 beautiful bedrooms and even a room to put on your make up, do your hair, etc.. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house is on a winery, and they are super nice with great wines and small plates, try the chicken panini and homemade soup! I would definitely recommend and stay again! Thank you for hosting!

Enchanting and whimsical

This house was just lovely, the house itself had everything we needed and was beautifully styled I felt like I was a part of history! The outdoor spaces were gorgeous and proximity to town was perfect. Would definitely come back to stay here. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Family weekend get away

Beautiful Victorian farmhouse, felt like my grandmothers home. Very nice and comfortable. Loved the open bright feel. Well maintained. My niece visited with her 2 year old and he loved exploring the property. Close to everything but feels far away. The winery was awesome, great experience all around.

Wish I owned this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This house took me back in time. Love the antiques and historic vibe. It is a beautiful and peaceful property. Wish I could stay longer. We will definitely be back! The winery is an added bonus.

Great grad weekend family spot

We booked a year in advance, knowing we had a senior graduating from SLI, and were glad we did. Just a perfect spot to gather with friends and family

Needs updating. The beds and bedding were very old and uncomfortable. A property that hasn’t been changed in years. Cupboards full of old stuff.

Step back in time

Stunning 1908 farmhouse! Updated for comfort while maintaining the ambience of the original charm of this house. Super comfortable. My only comment is I slept in the room with double bed. Really needs a new mattress. The feather bed doesn't help at all. Other than that, even with a glitch with the TV, we LOVED this place and would happily stay here again.

Amazing property

This was our first time staying here and we cannot wait to come back. The farmhouse is darling and soo spacious and the Other cottage is adorable. We had both houses/cottages for our sons wedding It was perfect!! Chris is an amazing host and was available to answer any questions. Soo friendly. Amy and the staff at the tasting room were soo nice and were just as excited for the wedding as we were. They treated us like we were family and I could not have asked for a better weekend. Thank you all soo much!!

Location was wonderful

The old farmhouse is like spending a weekend with your grandparents. Add in strolling among the vineyards and tasting the wines. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing place with having a tasting room out your front then don’t miss staying here.

Beautiful home and perfect location!

Our stay was wonderful. It was a little tricky sharing the one bathroom but the property and price made it worth it. The house itself was so entertaining with all of the nicknacks and the old farmhouse feel. We hope to return!

Beautiful & Wonderful Property!

This spot is an incredible find - such a beautiful historic home that is so cute, clean, well maintained and well stocked with anything that you'd need for a fun weekend away. Communication was wonderful and access to the house was easy - not to mention the tasting room just steps away from the front porch. We had an incredible stay and really look forward to coming back soon!

Incredible Stay!

We had an incredible stay at the farmhouse. It was so cute, very clean, and had the perfect aesthetic for our girls weekend of wine tasting. The staff was also very welcoming and responsive. The place was just like the pictures if not even better in person. Thank you we can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful Historic Farm House to enjoy the best of SLO wine country

Wonderful stay at the historic farm house in Old Edna, nestled behind the excellent Sextant Winery. We arrived to a welcoming, and much appreciated, charcuterie board and bottle of wine. Grounds of the house are lush with mature trees and flowers, bird life and multiple patio to enjoy. The house is very comfortable, clean, peaceful and full of charm. A great location and experience in San Luis Obispo!

Perfect for a Wine Tasting Getaway Weekend

I chose this home for a girls getaway to celebrate my friends upcoming wedding. She wanted something quiet with access to wine tasting. LOOK NO FURTHER, this rental literally shares a yard with Sextant Wines, we were able to step out of our rental and right into the tasting lounge. The home is also minutes away from other wineries and 10 minutes from DT SLO for shopping and restaurants. We were also met with wine and a cheese board which was lovely. The home is quite spacious, with a washer and dryer. The home is very quiet, charming and historic. The only thing I would recommend are drapes, one of the bedrooms had no access to closing the curtains or blinds so at night it was a little uncomfortable. Note: There are a lot of fragile knick knacks in the house so be aware of that.
