Second bedroom opens onto a full size porch overlooking downtown Abbeville! Just blocks away from Goucheaux park and local seafood restaurants!

This rental is in the heart of Cajun country! The food is great the fishing is awesome! Bird watchers welcome. There are state parks to visit, creole nature trail runs south of here! So much to see and do in Vermilion Parish!! The Tabasco plant is less than 20min. east of Abbeville!

We loved our stay at this property. The location in downtown Abbeville was incredibly convenient, and the home was well appointed. Perfect setup for our small family of 3, but would have worked great even for a slightly larger party.

The Guest Room

We had a wonderful weekend at The Guest Room! The venue was very clean and a great place to relax after tournament ball. When we are in the area, we will choose this one again. Our hostess exceeded all of our expectations!

Relaxing Amidst Stressful Legion Ball

My host was so accommodating and friendly. It is obvious that the property is her passion from the decor to the logistics in making sure that the guests are comfortable. All of the personal touches made it feel welcoming and unique.

Simply PERFECT!!!!!

What a perfectly wonderful place! Deborah is fantastic. You literally feel like you have come "home". The place is beautiful, cozy and - well ---just perfect. We will definitely come back our next trip. Trust me when I say that you will absolutely love staying here! :)

Great get away!

I had to rent this property at the last minute to attend a soccer tournament in Lafayette with my son. Deborah, the host, was very happy to have us. The location is deep in the heart of Cajun country, and while it is a 20-30 minute drive to Lafayette, it was still a great weekend. The host is very accommodating and will work with you as well as they can. Would definitely stay again and look forward to going back with my spouse.

A Great Place to stay

My husband, daughter and I attended a wedding in Abbeville. The Guest House was perfect for us. It was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are exquisitely decorated giving it an at home feel. Deborah was pleasant and accommodating providing all we needed. We enjoyed our stay. Definitely will return!
