More cooking utensils!

This place could a few more kitchen supplies. We had to buy a 9 x 13 pan.really benefit from so wooden spoons, tongs etc.

Quiet Spot

Management company is very responsive and took care of any issues. Location is a secluded spot in the mountains and sufficient as a place to rest after a day out and about in the surrounding areas. Conveniently located between Nashville and Mammoth National Park.

The house was exactly as described. Tucked away from society, but close enough to pop out if you needed to. The host was very prompt to respond to questions. Would book again!

This was a great place to stay! It was clean, the owner was fast to communicate, and the location was perfect and quiet!! Plenty of space for 6 adults and 1 teen. We would definitely recommend!

Family Nashville Trip

The cabin is beautiful! We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck watching nature. Two baby deer visited us one morning. It was a perfect location, spent our days touring Nashville and came back and relaxed on the deck at night.

The house is amazing, it was very comfortable and spacious. we really loved the outside atmosphere, we so enjoyed the deck, the woods, the animal sounds and the quietness of the area. This place was perfect for us. The 25 minute drive into Nashville was an easy trip. We will definitely return in the fall.

Tree house feel

Enjoyed our stay. Liked location and how you felt like you were in a tree house. Close enough to Nashville but away from the hustle and bustle. Very relaxing. Cooked in kitchen every night. Everything we needed was there. Enjoyed campfire.

Family Thanksgiving - Family Kitchen

Kitchen space was awesome for cooking. Microwave did not show timer so difficult gauging cook time. Outdoor grill was great and host left an extra cylinder of gas to ensure we did not run out. Sleeping space was great just wish the beds were a little more comfortable. Needed sitting space for larger family.

Second visit

The beautiful drive to this property has us relaxing before we even walk in the door. We enjoyed our second visit to the property and it felt a bit like we were “coming home.” The property owner was quick to respond when we made inquiries. Will be back if we are ever back in the area.

Loved location

We loved the location. Its about 25 mins from downtown Nashville. Only a couple of complaints...mouse poop on the bathroom towels, in the kitchen and next to the fireplace. The refrigerator was broke and just before the checkin they let us know. They brought a mini fridge and freezer. It froze all our food. We also couldnt fit much in it and there was 4 adults. So we had to keep running to the store.

Cute (but buggy) Property

This was the perfect house for our stay. Spacious enough for a large group, and out of the way so its very quiet. However, absolutely over run with ladybugs. Obviously, not a scary or gross pest, but a little odd to have to brush ladybugs off of your mugs every morning before you get your coffee. We had trouble getting into the property; the code they gave us for the door didn't work, and there isn't much service, so we couldn't get in contact with the manager. Thankfully, the back door was unlocked and we were able to get in that way, but did feel a bit unsafe to walk into a home with an unlocked backdoor. The manager ended up messaging us her personal code and fixing the keypad so we were able to get in easily after the first evening. Truly a lovely home and a great stay all things considered.

Great place outside of Nashville

Wonderful stay with my family at this cabin in the woods. We wanted something outside the craziness of Nashville, and it helped that the wedding venue was just 4 miles away. Loved the property for its seclusion as it gave us a chance to relax without hearing the neighbors. Driving in that first evening seemed like we were miles from anywhere but in reality everything you might need was just 10 min away in Goodletsville. The property itself is aptly named. You are certainly surrounded by solitude and can sit on the deck with your coffee in the morning and hear pretty much nothing but nature. Inside the cabin was very updated and warm. 3 good sized bedrooms and a large and open family room. And if you wanted, a comfortable loft area to get away. All the amenities we wanted and needed. Clean and well-kept, we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. If you are looking to stay in the Nashville area, without having to deal with the daily traffic and noise, you will not go wrong with this wonderful cabin.

2019 BMW MOA Rally

We were using this house as the base for the 2019 BMW MOA rally and sightseeing in Nashville. There were 4 of us on motorcycles, our 7-month-old grandson, and our 2 daughters who drove in from Birmingham. We ended up eating our breakfasts at the house and a couple of our evening meals. We used the grill to cook the evening meals which worked very well. The house worked wonderfully for us and was very comfortable for a group this size. It was clean and outfitted nicely. The only snafu we had occurred when we thought we were short on towels until we looked in the dryer and they had been washed but not put away, so a minor inconvenience. The house is off the road a bit and is very quiet only hearing a bit of traffic if you are out on the deck. It is about 5 minutes from Publix and Kroger grocery stores and several restaurants. A couple miles further and there are Walmart and Target stores for any other needs. We did experience some traffic delays as we were heading to the BMW Rally in Lebanon due to construction but getting to the house and to Downtown Nashville was very easy. The owners were quick to respond to questions as we were planning the trip and we will look at this listing again when we are in the Nashville area.
