Was nice but had rather be a little more secluded.

  • 3 of 5

This is a beautiful cabin. The cabin had a few minor issues which I have emailed the owner about and she's going to take care of. The main concern we had was the neighbors in the cabin to the left of us. The parking is not designated for individual cabins and I parked in the spot next to the cabin to the left and the guy renting that cabin came over knocking on our door pretty late at night asking if that was my car and if so I had to move because I was in his parking space. That could turn into a bad situation if you had a hot headed person renting either cabin. I moved my vehicle down hill but I didn't say anything to the man.

Serious need of repair

  • 3 of 5

The floors, counters and bathrooms were clean. But the ceiling fans were so dusty that we were afraid to turn them on because the dust would be spread around. There were multiple burned out light bulbs, the tv remote needed a new battery, the bed spread upstairs had huge stains, the tile in upstairs bath was cracked and the grout was missing between some floor tiles.

I absolutely love this cabin. This is not my first stay and I will definitely stay again. I appreciate the owner for everything. I can not wait to return, if you want a nice place to stay this is the place.

Clean cabin, great location in Pigeon Forge

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was spotless, and had just about everything we needed. We definitely could have used a few more towels, we had to keep washing them, and for some reason there are very few spoons. The cabin is located right across from the resort, with very easy access to the indoor pool, and the outdoor pool is a short walk away. The cabin and resort are just off the main strip through Pigeon Forge, and also just a short drive away from mountain scenery. We did a few of the touristy attractions, and we hiked to Laurel Falls and spent some time playing in the river in the mountains. My only true complaint about the cabin: the linen situation needs to be addressed! There are no extra linens for the two beds, the sheet for the pull-out is in bad shape, and the blanket provided for the pull-out sofa looks like someone cut it up with scissors. There were 3 extra pillows, but no cases for them. There is a mini-sofa upstairs in the loft that pulls out, and it's not mentioned in the listing, probably because it should not be used. It is broken, in bad shape, and there are no linens provided for it. I did email Sheila and got a quick response, she said she will look into it, because she did just purchase new linens. There is no evidence of that, and she was going to check with her cleaning people. Overall, we had a great trip, and I would stay in this cabin again, but I would bring my own towels and linens.

Noisy

  • 2 of 5

When we arrived the other side was being worked on. Not sure what was being done but the noise was loud on our side. The next morning the noise started again at 9am. I understand work needs to be done but people are on vacation and would like to sleep in, but we couldnt. Then the doors in the down stairs bathroom shut way to easy which made it very noisy throughout the chalet. I hate to complain about that, but when your sleeping at 2am and someone uses the bathroom its very loud in a chalet with no carpet. Then my nephew sat in one of the kitchen chairs and he barley moved and it broke. Also it was set up for a 6 person stay, but only 4 chairs at a small round dining table, so a couple of people had to eat in the living room not together with the family. There wasn't really a view. When I was in the pool area I had someone come up and ask me for money "looked like someone on drugs bad" not sure if the lady was staying in the hotel part of it or just walked in. The recreation room had two hockey tables that barley worked, looked really old and not kept up maintenance. Unfortunately I would not stay here again or any of the chalets in this area.
