About the host
Hosted by Adam Chittenden
Hi! Our names are Adam and Landere. We are hosting our newly built studio apartment Adam finished this Spring. A lot of the framing lumber was milled from the trees on the site and it is eco-friendly and completely handmade. The solar panels on the roof provides hot water, the kitchen counters he milled right here from rough sawn live-edge ash and the entire building has been customized to be a comfortable, cozy and private space. We hope you enjoy and if we can help you make your stay any more enjoyable please let us know!
Why they chose this property
The apartment is completely separate from the hosts’ residence. It is very private, comfortable and has a deck where you can enjoy some morning rays with coffee or tea over breakfast. The parking is really accessible and the garden is right there. Your view looks out onto our small orchard and rock garden.
What makes this property unique
The balcony is a great spot for star gazing! There aren’t any lights around so the Milky Way is bright as ever up here in Maine.
