Apartment of 140 m2 for 14 people, on 3 half-levels, completely refurbished (work in progress) and fully equipped (wifi, fitted kitchen, washing machine and dryer, raclette / fondue appliances, pancakes, hair dryer, shoe dryer….) composed of:

Excellent stay

Couldn't ask for more about the property, bus stop outside as well as the ski hire shops and lift up the mountain. There was 14 of us, 8 adults and 6 kids of all ages and didn't feel on top of each other. The big table is a great social space.

Well designed and well equipped chalet

Our second stay at this beautifully decorated chalet. Well laid out over 3 floors - sound not a problem with a baby and fun games sessions in the lounge. Lots of kitchen equipment Good location - close to the Villages ski lift where you can travel both up and down to a nursery slope plateau and the main connection to the glacier.

Great chalet and a wonderful location

We stayed for a week- 3 families with children age 6-9 years old. We used the Chalet Care taxi service which was amazing to get down to the ski school each morning and to the supermarkets etc although the Village chair lift is a 5 min walk and the free bus stop also close by. The chalet was very well equipped with beautiful views and plenty of space to all relax and enjoy the holiday.

Fabulous apartment in a great location.

Easy access to chair lift via lift and 60 second walk. Free shuttle bus right outside the door. Excellent support offered from owner and letting agents. All the equipment you could think of in apartment. Brilliant hot showers and large boot room with heated boot warmers. Supermarket and ski hire within 5 min walk. One of the best places we have stayed in and would highly recommend 😄

Fabulous apartment

Loved our stay in L2A. The apartment is well thought through - and exactly as shown on the pictures. Very considerate touches, for example, 2 fondue sets because just 1 would be useless for that beautiful long table in the living area. Loads of glasses/crockery/pans etc. Plenty of seating for our group of 13. Even a step for toddlers to reach the sink. The boot room is really conveniently near the front door and a loo just as you enter for little ones who are desperate!! The lift to the main concourse is just down 5 steps, then walk across to the Village chair lift which we never had to queue for even in half term. It's great to come downhill on too with little ones or new (or tired) skiers. Julie was very quick to reply - and picking up the keys was easy.

March group ski trip!

We visited as a group of 10 friends (of mixed skiing ability) for a week’s holiday in early March. The accommodation was as shown online, the check in process was okay but it would have been easier for us had the concierge office been closer to the accommodation. The linen and towels were clean, kitchen equipment and pots/pans etc all clean too. The location was excellent, we used the nearby Intersport ski shop and Sherpa supermarket which were both ideally located. We also used the Village chair lift which meant we avoided the long queues for the Jandri. The bus stop was just outside of the apartment which was great for the two members of the group who were in ski school. It would have been good if there was a sponge / cleaning sprays/washing up liquid available in the accommodation - we had to buy these which felt wasteful for just a week's trip. The accommodation included lots of helpful resort information, maps and some board games which we enjoyed playing in the evenings. The communication from the host and concierge was also excellent.

Top apartment

This is a great apartment. Five bed all with en-suites, good useable kitchen, enormous dining table with plenty of chairs & one of the best social chill areas we’ve had in a property over the last 40 years of renting/skiing. Only negatives would be: 1. three of the en-suites radiators didn’t function & could not be fixed apparently, 2. with only one 2-man chair taking skiers into the main ski area & up to the glacier, could imagine this being busy at peak times & especially with more new builds happening. That said I don’t know if there are plans to expand lifts around this “village1800” area. That said we were off peak & had no real issues, just below average snow conditions rendering only the black run back, but there is a long green back too with more snow! However, accommodation was a great place, management Co. we’re great with communication before & during stay & very happy with the experience! Gaz

Appartement spacieux décoré avec goût. 6 chambres, 6 salles de bain... et tout ce qui faut pour un séjour réussi. L'appartement est très bien pensé : une grande salle de vie commune avec cuisine, une grande table, des coins salons et un espace nuit bien séparé. Le local à ski/buanderie/réserve dans l'appartement est aussi très pratique. L'accueil a été parfait et chaleureux. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Je recommande cet appartement.

Half Term Skiing - Feb 2020

Just returned from LDA. We had a great time and we would highly recommend this apartment. It is as good as it looks in the photos. Well presented, well equipped and the main living area is more than large enough for 13 adults to sit comfortably. It is a short walk (3 mins?) to the Village Lift and it is possible to ski back, although the green run gets busy and slushy and the black run can be tricky at the top if it’s icy, but both runs are doable. No issues with heating or hot water and the boot room is great. All en-suites are great albeit small. Check-in and check-out was smooth and both Helen and Sarah were helpful. The only issue we would say is that some of the bedrooms are a bit small – the one we were in had minimal space and we resorted to living out of suitcases that were on the bed during the day as there was nowhere to put them. It was a bit like living in a luxury campervan for the week. Thankfully the main area of the apartment is roomy so small bedrooms are a minor issue. Be warned – access into LDA is dreadful. Grenoble is a mess due to a large road infrastructure project and the main drag up the mountain was very busy in both directions. The last 90 miles of our trip took over 3 hours. We also struggled to link the resort together without too much time on lifts or on easy blue runs, but this may have just be us! In summary – if you want to go to LDA you will struggle to find a better apartment in a good location. For us, it’s just in the wrong resort.

Chouette appartement idéalement situé pour rejoindre les pistes et quelques magasins, arrêt navette à la sortie de l’immeuble pour rejoindre le centre. Très bien équipé, séjour et cuisine spacieux. Rangement ski top, nous avons juste été déçus par la propreté des draps (Blanchisserie) et un peu bruyant pour les chambres du bas si on tombe sur des voisins fêtards! Mais globalement, c'était très bien! ☺

Fabulous apartment - perfect for our group. Great holiday.

We recently stayed at the apartment for a week over New Year. The apartment was perfect for our needs, with a great kitchen/ dining/ lounge area which could easily seat 13 adults without being crowded. The ski room was fantastic with plenty of ski, boot and helmet storage as well as room to hang ski jackets and coats. The bathrooms were all clean and modern and the bedrooms were good. The two rear bedrooms are very small with not much space around the bed, but this was not a problem. The only slight inconvenience is having to make up beds on arrival , it would be nice if this as already done. The sheets were clean and clearly laundered but they were a little old and could've been better quality. The bath towels were also a little thin and could have been bigger and also better in quality. The views from the apartment balcony overlooking the town and Vallee Blanche ski area are great and the location of the apartment was fantastic , just a few steps from the Village chair lift and at the end of the black (Valentin) run or the green (Marmoiselles) run . This meant both beginners and advanced skiers in our party could ski right back to the door. We literally took our skis off and walked into the apartment building. There is also a bus stop outside the apartment building which runs regular service in to the main village-although the buses back up to the apartment from town were a little unreliable and often too crowded to get on! It is about a 15-20 minute walk in to the centre of Les Deux Alpes if the buses are not running to schedule. Please note there is no local taxi service. Also close to the apartment are restaurants bars and a small supermarket. There are larger supermarkets which can be found in the main centre. There is also a breakfast delivery service available to bring fresh croissants and breakfast items to your door each morning. We travelled with a two families of 50+ year olds with older children in their 20's. The younger ones would ski to the apartment offload skis and boots and then get the bus into the main centre for apres ski - so no walking in skiboots or carrying skis. The apartment had ample kitchen utensils, appliances and cutlery and crockery. All in all we had a fabulous holiday and both the rental agents and the hostess, Julie Mignotte were really helpful throughout. I would highly recommend this apartment- its a lovely base for a lovely holiday.
