Sun Baby provides most everything you need for your Gulf Shores vacation. Located on quiet West Beach, we are within walking distance of Wave Grocery and Beach House Kitchen and Cocktails. The main beach intersection is only 1.5 miles away and features the famous Pink Pony Pub, The Hangout, the Sun Liner Diner, Souvenir City, and several other souvenir and supply shops.

It was great, exactly what we needed.

It is a very nice unit. The lay-out and proximity to stores and restaurants is great. Very spacious layout, and excellent service. I would very much recommend the unit. Easy, covered parking. Easy beach access.

Clean and close to the beach!

Loved the place! Private balcony with a gate for the pups was a plus! Everything within walking distance! Highly recommend for a pet friendly beach vacation!!

Overall the cottage was very nice. Everything was as advertised as far as rooms and furnishings. One of the issues we had was the cushions on the sleeper sofa and the love seat needed to be replaced. They were flat and had no support. Another issue was the floors seems to be a little dirty as evidence of our dirty socks. Not a big deal but something that should be addressed and fixed. We had a great time at the beach and enjoyed our stay. We hope to be back next year and if a few things can be fixed we may try to book this cottage again.

Wonderful!

A wonderful place to stay- even though we had 8 inches of snow! Very magical. The house was sturdy and close to the beach. Very clean and we loved that it was dog friendly. :)

Our Beach Condo

The Condo was perfect. Was clean and close to the beach and the owner was so nice and easy to work with. We cleaned up really good before leaving and took out all trash and washed any towels we used . I would stay there again

Sunbaby Cottage

5 days of relaxation in a clean well furnished cottage, steps from the beautiful beach. Loads of restaurants walking distance or a short drive. The dog park (less than 10 minted drive) was a must every day. One of the nicest dog parks I’ve been to.

Perfect!

My family and dog really enjoyed our stay at sun baby. It was such a perfect location, walkable distance to restaurants, store, and the beach access was incredibly close. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was fully stocked and updated, the kitchen was supplied with essentials to make meals. We loved having access to a washer and dryer during our stay. The outside shower was perfect to rinse off before walking in. We will definitely be booking here again.

Coziest Beach Cottage

Staying at Sun Baby was such an amazing experience. The location was absolutely PERFECT! We loved being right across from the beach. The pool was cleaned every morning & has recently been resurfaced. The cottage was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed at in Gulf Shores. The beds were comfortable. We brought our miniature poodle, she enjoyed lounging on the dog friendly deck daily 🐶❤️ We look forward to booking again & would highly recommend Sun Baby to our family & friends.

SunBaby #1 was cozy and great for the family and dog

Really enjoyed this adorable, cozy, clean beach cottage! Couldn't find the sheets for the pull out sofa at first, but it was my bad - the owner was super responsive and helpful. Was able to fit an XXL crate in the corner for our standard poodle, and it was a great environment for him and our family to play and interact. The bathroom was gorgeous with enough hot water and shower space. Liked the in-cottage stacked washer and dryer - the loads were small but it did the job. The view was nice, porch was excellent, stairs were a bit steep but very sturdy with a good railing. Great area to walk and potty the dog as long as your dog doesn't care about traffic. We walked over to a few stores to get sundries and ice cream/pizza. The beach was super close and a nice easy walk. No dogs on the public beach, but the Dog Pond was a quick drive and a fun few hours of doggie fun in the water with the kids. 2 parking spots come reserved with this property, which was nice. The (unheated) pool was enjoyable and clean, with a good sunbathing area, and even some kids deck chairs. Really enjoyed having our own space (no shared walls/ceilings/floor with other guests), and would highly recommend this property to others.

Cute and adequate

Overall the property was good. Few minor improvements needed (hole in side of home, shower door handle falling off) and a deep cleaning completed. The furniture in living room has stains and a smell, lots of dog hair under couches and floors were sticky and dirty. We would have swept but couldn’t find a broom or maintenance closet with any cleaning supplies.It is located in the heart of things and within walking distance to the beach and small grocery store. Pool is small but nice and the chairs on the porch were great in the morning and evening.The home is tilted a little and you feel when someone is walking or moving in the bunkbeads. It sways/rocks more like an RV than a home.Overall, it was what we needed for a short trip to visit family.

Great place to stay!

We had a great stay with our kids at this property. The host was very good at communicating and responding right away. The location is great, right across the street from the beach and walking distance to an ice cream shop and seafood market.

Great property and experience!

Check in was simple and easy, great location and property was clean and organized. Close walk to the beach, great access to restaurants and activities. Only critique would be more toilet paper stocked and dish towels but we made it work. Thanks for the great beach trip with the family and we would definitely stay here again !

Convenient to the beach!

Very happy with this little bungalow. It is very close to the beach, literally across the street. So nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer combo. Lust a quick little walk from a little market and ice cream shop. Air is cold and it is spotlessly clean.

Wonderful Place!

Such a great experience! The property managers were wonderful and quick to respond with questions. We got in late and they were available even then. Cannot recommend this property enough!

Property is a short walk to downtown Gulf Shores. Bar/restaurant and grocery store around the corner. Cabin was cleaned and well stocked.

Gulf Shores getaway

Sun Baby was a perfect place for our family vacation, and even better that our dogs were welcome. The house was very clean and well equipped and we loved that it was just a short walk across the street to the beach. We also liked that it’s a short drive to all the shops and restaurants in the center of town. We’d certainly consider returning if we visit Gulf Shores again.

Super cute & cozy little beach cottage. Very clean & just as pictured. Well stocked with everything you need. Short walk across the street to beautiful beach. Loved the Beach House Kitchen for happy hour apps & drinks. Melissa was a great host with quick a response to my questions.

While on a road trip with my family in 2018, one of our stops was Gulf Shores. I fell in love with the area as soon as I put my toes in the sugary white sands and experienced the "squeak" as I walked to the water's edge. Within six months, our family decided to purchase a place for us and for guests to enjoy. When I purchased my condo, I wanted to provide a clean, cozy home that welcomes pets as well. As your host, my goal is to provide a place you will want to come back to and visit year after year. I hope you come and stay with us and enjoy our little cottage as much as our family and our French bulldogs do. We look forward to accommodating you on your next beach vacation. Don't forget your furry friend!
