We are a family-run farm since 1998 we organically cultivate a 10-hectare farm consisting of olive grove, orchard, vegetable garden, pasture and forest located within an area of "wildlife respect" where hares, pheasants, wild boars and roe deer they can live free and protected. Dormice, squirrels and various species of birds populate the oak trees in front of the house. We breed goats, cows, sheep and donkeys from Amiata: specimens of endangered breeds and farmyard animals.
On the first floor of the farmhouse the family lives, on the ground floor there is the apartment intended for the agritourism hospitality. It consists of a large kitchen-living room with fireplace, two double bedrooms for a total of four beds, bathroom. The pergola overlooks a large lawn behind the house where, in the evening, you can dine outdoors. . It is completely free of architectural barriers and open all year round. All rooms are equipped with heating and wood for the fireplace is provided by the company. Hot water comes from a solar energy system and electricity is produced by the photovoltaic system
The company does not offer a restaurant service, but the apartment is autonomous and perfectly equipped for cooking. It is possible to buy the company's products: fruit, vegetables, olive oil, eggs ... Bed and table linen is supplied by us. Animals are welcome.
Valleantica is 12 km away. from the spas of Casciana and is an excellent starting point to reach the cities of art: Florence 80 km away, Siena 70, San Gimignano 50, Pisa and Lucca 40, Volterra Livorno and the Tyrrhenian coast 30. For those who love walking, through a path through the fields it is possible to reach the Badia di Morrona, the ancient monastery of the Camaldolese Friars (11th century) In the Alta Valdera Park there are interesting archaeological sites rich in Etruscan remains, Romanesque parishes, medieval villages, crossed by the "Wine Road of the Pisan Hills" of which Terricciola is an unmissable stop.
